24.01.2022 One of the reasons we've been so quiet this season is due to the arrival of #islajune in August last year. Today we're packing the last of the orders and detemining quantities of what cultivars we'll be planting this season. In the meantime, #zaneaoun is teaching his little sister what you need to know about garlic. Not bad for a 5 year old who swears garlic is gross.

24.01.2022 We're taking the government's request of self isolating to a whole new level. 80ml of rain in 48 hours and we're now flooded in.

21.01.2022 It's my favourite time of the year. The pomegranates are ready. For me, I know Autumn is truly here. For our locals in isolation, Raza at @lagunavillageprovidore will have them from today... Let me if you've got a great recipe to share

20.01.2022 Happy Mother's Day from me to all the wonderful women who have babies and fur babies. Zane insisted Ella be part of the photo as I say to him that she's my number one furbaby. Thank you my babies for making me a mum.

16.01.2022 It's dirty work but someone's got to do it. After a tough year with little water and a warmer winter than expected, we have begun the labour of love with garlic harvest.

14.01.2022 The snow peas aren't the only things enjoying the cold weather. I'm loving the change of weather as it gives us the opportunity to grow new crops. We've got broccoli, brussel sprouts, mini cauli's and cabbage in the garden as well.... Tomorrow I can hopefully show you our latest finished project.

13.01.2022 My little project of the Easter Long Weekend is harvesting the olives from our tree and start brining them. This tree was here on the property when we brought it and this season after such a long drought, we have finally seen fruit. And remember, please listen to the advice and #stayhome

13.01.2022 We hope you've had an enjoyable start to the Easter long weekend. It's mixed emotions in this house tonight as we end up with more rain and wonder how we're going to plant the garlic this season. But this dinner makes me happy. It's years of friendship.... Every Good Friday we usually gather at @moorefarmfreshproduce for a Good Friday feast where Nat and Dean cook up a fabulous #seafoodpaella. We love, we laugh and many of the #wollombi familes are there to celebrate Easter. For many of us, it's usually the only day we have off during Easter. But this year it's different, but know I was thinking of us together making dinner tonight @twinecollectivewollombi @mystwoodretreat @zumbawithmilly @cafewollombi @cowboyscabin And Nat's tastes far better

11.01.2022 With a new address, we needed a logo update. Thanks to Jess at Bespoke Moments who has been with us since the beginning.

09.01.2022 I'm a little proud of these babies. They're super sweet and crunchy. It reminds me of being a kid when a cos was considered the "fancy" lettuce. Our Cos lettuce are ready for harvest and have made their way to @lagunavillageprovidore today where you can pick them up.... We've also got red and green coral available, all produced chemical free

08.01.2022 We finally got there. We're planting the garlic. The universe has really thrown some curve balls at us lately.... 3 weeks before the first flood, we came close to selling our seed stock because of the drought. Then the paddock we spent weeks preparing flooded twice. Things you learn after living on a property with no rain for 18 months. It's still wet in the photo. Then we ummed and ahhed on how much we plant. All of it or just enough to have seed next year. Jez finally got another paddock ready in record time and we'll get it all planted this weekend. Which means come November will be harvesting a bumper crop. Fingers crossed.

08.01.2022 With all the uncertainty happening around us, one thing we're fortune to have is community. These quince are grown on our property before I give them to my neighbour, Pam @crankyrock_wollombi who makes the most delicious quince paste. Then we'll share it with friends in the garden as we have all the fresh air and space for social distancing.... If you want to hear more beautiful stories of the Wollombi Valley community coming together, be sure to check out @visitwollombi as we team up with Natalie @moorefarmfreshproduce @byora_farm_house and Kylie @vallelaguna1 to share how our community will work together when social distancing becomes the new norm. #huntervalleyproduce #byorafarmhouse #vallelaguna #visitwollombi #community #lovewollombi #lovehuntervalley #advancecessnockcity #socialdistancing #noneedforisolaton #connectedcommunities

07.01.2022 Check out our new garden we have to work with. We're absolutely in love with the space. We've had fun over the last 2 weeks exploring what it has to offer and found asparagus, fennel, so many herbs and lots of fruit trees. With a bit of loving care (between garlic harvest!!) restore the garden to the place the original owner designed and start planting our summer crops.... Zane's already out helping planting his favourite mandarin tree to grow with him on the property. Over the next couple of weeks we'll be sharing more exciting news with you. Stay tuned xx

07.01.2022 Sorry it's been so long since our last post. Whilst I have been quiet, we have also been harvesting our award winning garlic, building the new garden and working out ways to get our chemical free produce to you. The weather hasn't been our friend this season from growing in drought conditions, receiving the much needed rainfall when we didn't need it and then cooler than average drying conditions, it hasn't been easy but good news, our 2018 harvest is ready to ship from tomor...row. Every order received will receive a FREE garlic storage bag along with instructions for storing and freezing instructions. The pricing is the same as last year and we have changed the shipping to allow you to choose between courier or post. If you have any questions, shoot me a message Ambs xx

04.01.2022 Yesterday we home schooled in the garden. We did plenty of maths counting plants, fair bit of sequencing on our spacing and a bit of heavy lifting for physical education. And we were all together. And that's what mattered the most.

03.01.2022 So after 6 months.... we can finally announce we're moving. We are so thankful for the beautiful experience it's given us - hard to believe that 5 years ago Jez & I brought this beautiful place to one day become our home. Commuting up from Sydney every Friday as a loved up couple with a dream. And it didn't disappoint - we moved here raise to Zane, to create a better lifestyle for our family and whilst most people dream of winning the lottery, Jez dreamed of growing garlic......you know the rest of the story. So next week, we move to a larger property with so many opportunities. We're still going to be located in the wonderful Wollombi Valley - this part of the world we couldn't leave. For those wondering about our garlic crop - it's growing splendidly. We plant in Cedar Creek but on an adjacent paddock to our property so we will still be shipping orders this year. We can't wait to share the next part of the story with you.

02.01.2022 I just have to share this. It's too cute. Jeremy dressed Isla for a morning in the garden working. Overalls and flamingo are on trend in isolation
