20.01.2022 COVID-19 Stage 4 Restrictions Update: What does this mean for us? Dental clinics have been mandated by the government to only provide urgent dental care.... What does this mean for you? - We are still open for business; however, we are only able to see you if you require emergency dental work. - If you need to be seen, the 5 km radius restriction does not apply. This qualifies as seeking medical care and we will provide relevant paperwork as proof. - We require all appointments to be made over the phone. - All non-emergency work will need to be postponed for at least 6 weeks (this is subject to the recommendations from the Australian Dental Association). - If you do have a non-urgent appointment booked in, we will contact you closer to your appointment date as the situation is rapidly changing. What is classified as urgent/emergency dental work? If you are experiencing pain or facial swelling. What if I have lost a filling? We may still be able to see you, however our dentists will need to examine the affected tooth and provide treatment based on clinical judgement and urgency. Please feel free to give us a call on (03) 9544 1222 or 0403 888 992 if you have any questions or require further clarification. We look forward to seeing you all soon. Stay safe. We are all in this together. - The team at Huntingdale Dental Clinic

19.01.2022 Dear Patients, The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many of us and we have witnessed an extraordinary impact on our lives, families and work. In the weeks leading up to this moment, our clinic has enforced protocols in line with government guidelines so that we have been able to treat our patients in a safe working environment. ... It is a rapidly changing situation; and the safety of our patients, staff and community are our priority. As a result, we have changed our working hours and conditions as of this week onwards to comply with new government restrictions. With your best interests at heart, we will need to postpone any non-urgent dental appointments - this includes your routine check up and clean. Don't worry - we will call you once we can see you again! However, if you, a family member or friend are experiencing any pain or trauma, we will be able see you for all dental emergencies. Since our working hours have changed, we ask that you call us in advance to secure an appointment. Please contact us on (03) 9544 1222 or 0403888992. If you are unable to get through to either of those numbers, please contact us at our affiliate clinic Preston Smiles on (03) 9470 2904. 09.01.2022 Can you spot our dentist Dr Michelle in this photo? Dr Michelle has taken a week off from her usual working hours at our clinic to volunteer her dental skills with a volunteer group called CHAT. CHAT aims to provide dental treatment for young children and their carers at temples and orphanages located in rural Vietnam. We are excited to hear about her experience when she gets back!

06.01.2022 Due to recent public health concerns, we would like to increase awareness to our patients regarding the current protocols we have put into place to protect the health and safety of our community. - We have taken additional precautions to spend more time wiping down surfaces with disinfectants between appointments in line with already existing standard practising guidelines. - We remain up-to-date with the changing recommendations from the health department to continue our pr...actice with care. - Our dental and medical office have implemented strict hand hygiene and sanitisation rules and appointment booking protocols. - We ask of any patients who have been overseas or been in contact with a family member or friend who has been overseas in the last two weeks, to postpone non-urgent appointments. - We ask of patients who are unwell with flu-like symptoms to postpone appointments and to consider a medical examination if symptoms persist. - Our opening hours remain unchanged as your dental health is also a priority to us. We prioritise the health of the individuals in our community and understand our responsibilities as health care providers to provide treatment in a safe environment. We wish all our patients safety throughout this period of time. If you have any further queries or concerns regarding COVID-19, an up-coming appointment or any dental issues related to the matter, please call (03) 9544 1222 to speak with a member of our team. We are here to offer you guidance and reassurance. Warm Regards, Helen, Tijana, Amanda, Michelle and Tim
