23.01.2022 We could, using the multiplier effect, drastically reduce unemployment in the Huon. We talk about buying local and how good it is, but this is how it works... ...In this example we're starting with a producer, but it starts with all of us. Here's how to turn $100 into $800 - but it works the same if we're talking $100,000 or $1million. The more we invest in our community the more services, shops and stocks expand to cater for the increased expenditure, the more people are needed to run those businesses.
