09.01.2022 RIP MARGARET MCCULLOUGH! William George Stafford was on an apprehended violence order when he shot Margaret McCullough at Mudgee on Friday evening. Bill ...the bastard then took the coward's way out and killed himself. Margaret spent 20 years married to this evil piece of garbage and had left him less than three months ago. In her final weeks on this earth, Stafford made Margaret's life hell by stalking, harassing, intimidating and assaulting her. We do not know why he was bailed but if he had of been in jail while awaiting trial on multiple assault and other charges, Margaret would still be alive. Margaret is the 35th Australian woman murdered this year. While our heart breaks for every victim of violence, we can't help but feel an extra level of rage and sadness in this case. Margaret was 76 years old and free for the first time in 20 years. She deserved to live her twilight years in peace but a selfish thug took that away from her.
