21.01.2022 Vale Edward Smokey Allen Smokey's funeral is to be held on Friday the 04/09/2020 at 1pm at the Lawn Cemetery Glen Huon. Then moving to the RSL, Shield Street.

20.01.2022 Vale Edward Smokey Allen It is with regret the Huonville Bulldogs Past Player & Supporters recognises the passing of Edward Smokey Allen. Smokey passed away Sunday 30/08/2020 and we pass on our condolences to his wife Annette and his children Christopher & Michelle.... For the Huonville Bulldogs Smokey was made a Life a Member in 1981 and played over 350 games, dual Premiership Player and was the Seniors Best & Fairest in 1975. Smokey was an icon of the Huonville Bulldogs Football Club and was a great personality around the club and will be missed by all.

20.01.2022 Huonville Bulldogs Past Players, Officials & Supporters would like to pass on our congratulations to Huonville Lions on a great season to date with the Women, Seniors & Reserves all making the Grand Final and the U19’s making the Preliminary Final. The Club is in good hands and we look forward to supporting the Huonville Lions Players this Friday night & Saturday. It has been an amazing season in trying times and we are all hoping they can get the job done over the weekend.

11.01.2022 Huonville Bulldogs Past Players, Officials & Supporters 2020 Annual Dinner Cancelled Due to the COVID 19 pandemic the Past Players, Officials & Supporters Annual Dinner has been cancelled for 2020. We looked at all options and unfortunately, we had no other option other than to cancel this year’s dinner. All things going to plan the 2021 Annual Dinner will be one for the ages celebrating 50 years since the 1971 Grand Final win. Hopefully everyone can get along to support ...the Huonville Lions through this shorten season and look forward to seeing everything get back to some normality in 2021.
