13.01.2022 RESERVES COACH ANNOUNCEMENT: The Huonville Lions are pleased to announce that Brad Browser Cordwell will continue as Reserves Coach for the 2021 season. Brad and his family have been heavily involved at the club over the past 5 seasons. Brad has a wealth of football experience and knowledge spanning over several decades. Brad has played in several Premierships over his time with the Franklin & Cygnet football clubs, and has gained vast experience in the WRFL in Melbourne ...later on in his career where he had many successful seasons. With a squad of near 50 reserves players in the 2020 season, Brad had the arduous task of picking the side each week and continually rotating players. Under Brad, the Reserves made it the to Grand Final and we wish them all the best for the upcoming 2021 season to go one better. #hearthemroar

Doors will open at 5:30PM for red carpet arrival & photos. The Proceedings will begin at 6:30PM with all patrons to be seated by this time.... Tickets are all inclusive with a 3 course meal (alternate plate drop) & 4 hour premium drinks package. $145 per head or $90 for patrons under 18 years of age. 08.01.2022 The Club has an early Christmas Present for all our supporters: We are thrilled to announce that our Senior Women’s coach for 2021 is BRAD HOWARTH Brad has had a stellar football career which include both Playing & Coaching achievements. An Under 19’s premiership and then nearly 100 games of senior football for Sandy Bay. He then finished his playing career at Channel Football Club in which he won the Best & Fairest in 1995, A Premiership in 1996 and was also the SFL leadi...ng goal kicker with 123 goals. Brad’s 123 goal season still stands as the STFL/SFL record & he also holds the record for the most goals kicked in a game-18 goals at Snug Park against Sorell in 1996 After hanging up the playing boots, Brad turned to coaching at KTJFC where he coached our current day players Jack Howarth & Ethan Brock from Auskick through to Under 16’s. They won a premiership in U/13 & U14 and then Runners Up U16. For the past two years Brad has been the Senior Men’s rotation coach under Bill Lamprill and he will continue this role in 2021. We know that with Brad’s wealth of football knowledge and understanding of the modern game he is the perfect fit for our women’s team. Brad will be accompanied by Andrew Crowe, as Assistant Coach. Crowey is a club Stalwart who has been alongside our women’s team since the start, providing invaluable advice to all players. We are so excited to see our women continue to progress under the leadership of these two great clubmen! BRING ON 2021 #hearthemroar
