20.01.2022 Year 11 have been working on completing a unit of work based on Outdoor Recreation in PDHPE. They have developed an understanding of using a compass to navigate, how to prepare and cook their own meals and most recently have enjoyed putting up their own tents to simulate the camping experience. Year 11 PDHPE usually go on an outdoor recreation camp where all these skills get tested in real life situations. Unfortunately due to Covid, the camp will not go on this year. However they have still learnt the valuable skills that are needed for a successful camping trip.

18.01.2022 A collaborative artwork by Year 8 and 9 Visual Arts students is currently being exhibited in the Public Art exhibition "Sculpture in the Vineyards". The students created a beautiful installation that includes a woven metallic spider egg sac and approximately 1000 spiders that emerge from the organic form. The exhibition will run from 17th October to the 1st November in Wollombi, Hunter Valley. The HAHS artwork is located at the Roadside Gallery.

13.01.2022 Hurlstone Agricultural High School teachers set a goal for STEPtember to raise money, our goal was to raise $2020 and as of tonight we have raised $4180.
