25.01.2022 Under 11 Girls Div 2 'B' had a great season for 2020..... now they all look forward to going onto a full pitch and competition next season!

25.01.2022 The 30w2c team started this season with most players new to the game, then the pandemic looked like they may not get to play. They ended up having a fantastic season with some wins and lots of close games - and with these fantastic women becoming committed footballers. Congratulations on a great season and looking forward to next year (when they’ll work on all looking at the camera for the team photo )

25.01.2022 Now is the time to get ready for the season. Register to become a referee. A great way to get fit, understand the game, get involved, and earn some extra income.

25.01.2022 Just in case you missed this during the season. Register your interest now to be included in the upcoming newsletter!

To register, go to https://forms.gle/cacNm8vQiVxUdSu58 Cost to play Division 1? We believe that if you are good enough to play (in Div 1 that is) ... you shouldn't have to pay (any extra than the association's rego fees). Why play at the Hurlstone Park Wanderers? We are one of the largest grassroots clubs in the district with (we think) the best natural grass pitch in the area (with brand new game condition lights), well-credentialed and successful in-house coaches who operate under the mentoring of our Technical Director, Steve Tzanakes. But most importantly, we have a great club culture. For any queries, please contact our Coaching Coordinator, Terry Wong at [email protected]

23.01.2022 The 12G/2 team has a fantastic season - such an enthusiastic team, and they were delighted to end their season with a win. Love the framing in the mini goal! Very happy coaches Gemma and Isra, and manager Kirsty.

22.01.2022 Great to have our GMT team back in action at Ewen Park today. Some new faces joining our line up in the premier women’s competition. A great game to start the season - Balmain took the points but we are here for the long haul.

22.01.2022 A...and that’s a wrap for season 2020. You were a complex and troublesome season, but we sort of love you all the more for it. The Stuff has gone into hibernation - see you in March, Stuff

22.01.2022 The winning goal from the 16/3's game.

22.01.2022 Our team gave their all in a very tight game but in the end were runners up, with Saints holding an early lead to take out the GF 1-0. Congratulations to Leichhardt Saints and commiserations to our fantastic players. You’ve given us a great season, and can hold your heads up high.

18.01.2022 Our 16/3's were the Premiers for 2020 - they closed the deal with a 1-0 win against Concord. Congratulations to these hard-working young men and their coaching team!.

12.01.2022 Replay of the GMT final.

12.01.2022 2 down, 1 to go! The weather has been fantastic for our April Holiday Camp. The kids and coaches are having a great time. Nothing says that more than kids only registering for 1 day (because as parents you just never know how they will respond) and having them plead to come back for more.

11.01.2022 U17s getting ready for the season

10.01.2022 Summer Skills Sessions are under way. Ewen surface is looking like carpet. Great to be able to offer our players the opportunity to continue working on their skills during the off season.

10.01.2022 This season it was so exciting to have two new women’s teams in the all age Comp, both playing in AAW3. The AAW3A team were a mixture of returning players to our club (the hurlo bond runs deep, which we love), new (experienced) players to the club and totally brand new players, or players returning to football after many years away. What a great season they have had. For a newly formed team to knit together, enjoy each other’s company and playing style and give their all each... week is something very special. Fantastic effort to come away with 4 wins, a draw and 20 goals in your first season together. Could not be more proud of these women.

09.01.2022 A blast from the past : this great photo of George and Costa Triantafyllou proudly wearing their Hurlo kit with their parents - 1974. We would love to see and hear your photos and stories of Hurlo history, especially as we move towards our centenary in 2024.

09.01.2022 Last chance to register for Division 1 Trials. All players must register before attending. Schedule for Monday 7th December 2020 is ... 6pm to 7pm - U12, U13, U17 7pm to 8pm - U12 Girls, U14, U15 https://forms.gle/2N3mN44AS5Tae9Q88

09.01.2022 Our WIL2 team had a great season - unfortunately missing the last game due to a late forfeit by their opposition but most of the team together for the t shirt photo! This team has really gelled and developed so much - thanks to coach Neil and manager Louise for their fantastic support.

08.01.2022 Registrations for the 2021 season are now open. Come play with a club committed to fostering the development of football and footballers with a spirit of fair play and for the love of the game. Details of how to register are on our website.... https://hurlstoneparkwanderers.com.au//2021-registration-i New players to the club in u8 and above should contact our age coordinators before registering.

07.01.2022 How was your weekend of football? Let us know, and share your photos. Here’s the 30w1C team showing off their new personalised playing strip (and practising the alphabetic order line up for the referees) #goHurlo

06.01.2022 14/4s has a terrific season, another team so happy to have had the opportunity to play.

05.01.2022 As the season that we weren't sure was going to happen closes- it is time for the managers to get the shirts washed and audited and ready to return to our gear manager. David will be at Ewen park on Tuesday Oct 6 and Oct 13 from 7:00- 7:45 .

05.01.2022 The 12/1 girls wrap up a great first season on the big field!

05.01.2022 PREMIERS! Congratulations to the 14/2G for wrapping up the premiership. Capped it off with a great win today in hot conditions. Well done girls, George, Peter and Veronique for a great season. This caps off a very successful year for George, being involved in 2 premiership winning teams .. good night in the Papathanasiou household tonight

05.01.2022 30W2B had a great final game of the season coming back from 3-0 down to continue a grand tradition of being evenly matched with our friends from Marrickville, topping and tailing the season with draws against the Marrickville team.

04.01.2022 Not your usual #TravellingHurlo pic, but we thought we’d share this photo of Lauren, a #hurloforever player with our AAW4 team, because she makes us proud! Lauren has been in the thick of coping with the pandemic in the UK, putting in hard yards in her job as a paramedic in London. Great to see she is still smiling.

03.01.2022 Wishing all our players and supporters a happy new year. Let’s kick 2020 into the past, and look forward with hope to a great 2021 season. Registrations will open soon, stay tuned for our email notification. Also send us your #travellocalhurlo photos!!!

02.01.2022 35/6s celebrating a great season - another team very happy to have played!!

01.01.2022 ALL Monday Skills Sessions have been cancelled Monday 16/11 due to hot weather (based on Football NSW Hot Weather Policy). Apologies for the late notice but player welfare is paramount.

01.01.2022 To all of our Hurlo community - players, families, vollies and friends - have a restful, safe and happy Christmas.

01.01.2022 Sad news - many of our referees have benefited from the outstanding contribution of Gary Power as an educator and football leader.
