23.01.2022 Please be advised that unfortunately due to the wet weather received today, tonight's Open Men's City v Country and the Komatsu Women's Challenge Series matches... have been cancelled. We will be looking to reschedule the Open Mens City v Country to next Friday 5th Feb. Junior Cricket at Harrup Park has been cancelled for tomorrow with Vigoro Junior matches and those scheduled for outside grounds to go ahead at this stage. Senior Cricket tomorrow is going ahead at this stage unless otherwise advised.

20.01.2022 The Central Inferno Under 15 Girls have finished the state challenge in Brisbane. The week was marred by inclement weather, but despite that they managed to get one game in , with an exciting last over win against the Northern Flames. The team were excited to have a training session at the National Cricket Centre, and watch the Queensland Cricket Fire train and a big thankyou to former local and Hurricane, Charli Knott, from the Brisbane Heat who gifted the girls some surplus uniforms!

15.01.2022 This Thursday, thanks to Toyota Australia and 7Sport our club will benefit from the Toyota Good For Cricket campaign in the BBL That means for every 6 hit, our club will receive $500. Quite simply even one six can make a major difference for our local cricketers. The match will be between the Brisbane Heat and Adelaide Strikers Unlike Adelaide we are all hoping for some #Lynnsanity Flashback to 2012 when Mackay hosted the Bulls Masters and a little known Queensland Cricket... player by the name of Chris Lynn was the star import for Mackay Whitsunday Cricket INC Via Twitter, Chris was challenged to donate $5 for every six hit over the weekend towards our local girls who were preparing to participate in the various schoolgirls tournaments. Needless to say #Lynnsanity prevailed and the 15 girls benefited. Yes we started the legend that is Lynn. Pictured here are former Hurricanes, Alexandra and Charni with the big man himself from that weekend. No matter what happens this Thursday, we know Lynny has our back and that's #GoodforCricket

14.01.2022 Hi everyone, some exciting news below from Zoe, female cricket coordinator. We will provide further details once confirmed via Facebook and email. Please keep Tuesday evening free at this stage to participate. Due to the success with female cricket in our region, Mackay has been nominated to be involved in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Trophy Tour!... This means that our female cricketers will have the opportunity to come together to participate in a zoom call with some Australian players. Cricket Australia is yet to confirm the date and time of this zoom call (I will be enquiring today or tomorrow), but I have requested Tuesday (Sept. 22nd) evening, from 5pm. I know this is quite vague, but it would be great if you would be able to let the female players in your club (blasters to social 8's) know that this is going to be happening on Tuesday evening and if they're available to join in, they are more than welcome to attend. Please promote this as much as possible- we'd love to show the Aussie girls how many females we have in our 'little' regional town! At this stage, it will be at Harrup Park for us to be altogether having a chat with the Aussie players. Once all is confirmed, I will let you know.
