As previously advised, players/teams to arrive 15mins prior to games and leave straight after. Only ONE parent/guardian per player. If anyone is showing any flu like symptoms please do it attend.... Please continue to practice social distancing. The Health department is doing random spot checks at fields across all codes to make sure people are following the government guidelines, it can be a hassle and add extra challenges, though it is something that we all need to be vigilant with if we want to continue to keep playing. 16.01.2022 A message from Parramatta Junior League ------------------------------ Good Afternoon All,... I understand that there is a lot of hesitancy around allowing players to continue training and/or playing when some schools have been closed in the area. This afternoon I have again clarified with NSWRL as to the advice from the NSW Government Health Department. When a school is closed because of a positive case, the students and/or staff who have been identified, by an authorised contact tracer, as a close contact of a COVID-19 case must: self-isolate for the period of time determined by the authorised contact tracer (being no more than 14 days) at their residence or other suitable premises The below information is straight from the NSW Government Health example; Someone has tested positive for COVID-19 at my childs school/childcare and my child has not been identified as a close contact Does my child need to self-isolate? If your child did not have any significant close contact with a person who was infectious with COVID-19 and is feeling well, they do not need to self-isolate and can go to school or childcare as normal. However, please look out for any symptoms, particularly fever (37.5C or higher), cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath (difficulty breathing). If symptoms develop, keep your child away from other people and seek help from a healthcare provider as soon as possible such as seeing a doctor (call ahead to alert your doctor about the possibility of COVID-19 before visiting) OR attending a COVID-19 testing clinic. If your child is tested for COVID-19, they should isolate at home and not attend school or childcare until the child receives the test result. Do others in my household need to self-isolate? No, they are not required to self-isolate. If you have players and/or staff, that fall into the above category, of attending a school but not being advised that they were a close contact, then they are able to continue to train and play. All clubs are reminded to continue to follow your COVID-19 Safety Plan Kind regards Matt

07.01.2022 Congratulations to our Under 10s team for making the Semi Finals this year. After a slow start to the season our mighty hurricanes have come home strong to finish 3rd. This is the first finals game for this team after narrowly missing the finals last year. We are still only allowed 1 parent per child at the games but we wish them all the best this weekend and would love to hear some messages of support so that we can pass them on to the boys. LETS GO HURRICANES!

06.01.2022 Under 10s , elemination Final Result , The boys played there hearts out today each and every one of the boys gave 150% effort , we could not be more proud of them ,however today we didnt come home with the win , with a 26 to 10 being the end result to the hawks , Dave Jannette and I as well as your parents ,are so proud of the team you have become, you are a side that gets better each game you play and this in its self is a great achievement, you young men can all hol...d your heads up high you gave it your best shot, we played finals footy, for the first time and we will learn from this and grow and be better next year with this experience behind us , as we regroup in 2021 , thanks you for your effort and dedication this year , it was a hard year all things considering but you all kept up the effort Am proud to be part or this great team Jase
