23.01.2022 IT’S CHRISTMAS HAM TIME!!!! This year we are excited to have two outstanding smoking companies supply us! Gazme Smokehouse and Barkly Smokehouse. Both have received many awards over the years and we are very proud to have them onboard for our up and coming festive season. ... Gazme not only provide free range half legs and full legs on the bone but also smoked turkey breast. Barkly have their award winning ‘Grandmother’s Ham’ (full legs and half leg-boneless) and Doubled Smoked leg ham (boneless). But don’t worry.... they also supply beautiful little hams for smaller families & couples! Orders for Gazme Hams must be in by next Monday 23rd Nov. Looking forward to seeing you soon! We have a supplier in Castlemaine who makes traditional puddings as well as a range of gourmet puddings. The Traditional pudding is available with a vegan friendly option. All other gourmet styles are either normal or gluten free. ... Their range consist of - Double Choc Orange Cointreau ( N or GF) Date & Butterscotch (N or GF) Cranberry & White Chocolate (N or GF) Traditional Plum Pudding ( N, GF / or V) If there is enough interest I’ll order a delivery for Christmas. 17.01.2022 This week, after nine long months of lockdown, I was finally reunited with my Dad. As I returned home from work, the aromas wafting from the kitchen were mouth watering. He’d cooked up a rolled leg of lamb that he’d marinated overnight in a lemon brine. If you like a bit of lemony zing then you’ll love this recipe! Sorry, no photo of the end product.....we devoured it before I thought to take one!
