12.01.2022 Good Morning Hurstville City Uniting Church Family. I was supposed to preach today but because of the times we’ve had to cancel. But I’ll still share a part of my message with you all. Growing up back in Tonga, every time my father would travel overseas he would make us outline our foot on a piece of a4 paper and write our names on it. That’s how shoe sizing was done in the Tafea family.... When he returned he would bring the exact sizes for all of us. Whether it be cowboy boots or sneakers with flashing lights, we knew we will all get the right fit. Today’s uncertainties makes us worry. But. If we put our feet down, outline what is ours and give it to the Lord then rest assured He will give you the right fit. Let’s live with Faith and hope not with fear and despair... You will get your cowboy boots with the right size. God bless you all and stay safe...

01.01.2022 How very special that Psalm 23 is on the lectionary today. As we go through these unprecedented times, and yes some of us may feel that we're walking through the "valley of death", we are reassured that God is with us..Missing our Church family, as we worship in the privacy of our own homes starting from today. God bless you all. Psalm 23 (New International Version) A psalm of David. 1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.... 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley,[a] I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
