22.01.2022 Finally we are sharing the news. The Hush Co. and Slumber & Sprout have joined forces and we couldn’t be more excited. We’ve both been working together in the background for several months on various projects so figured it only makes sense to do this together with all of our work. The Hush Co. and Slumber and Sprout are a great combo just like the avocado and toast, bacon and eggs and cookies and milk (we hope you loved the teasers). We are all about empowering Mum’s to... enjoy motherhood to the fullest and this ethos is no different when it comes to supporting and empowering each other. Why do business alone when as a team you can bring even more wonderful. That’s our mentality and that was the final bit of icing on the cake for us to make the decision to merge these two beauties. 12.01.2022 So you’ve heard our story about us being two women empowered by each other but you’ll want to know a bit more about the what. What does it mean now that The Hush Co. and Slumber and Sprout are working in partnership? For us individually we had a lot of admin changes to work through and we’ve had to make decisions on what website we are going to use, whose Instagram feed should we continue to grow etc. We’ve come up with solutions that we believe work best for our clients. ...In terms of our style of work, our sleep philosophies, our methods and techniques NONE OF THIS CHANGES. You would have seen we have created two guides together already which means we are both across our methods and we practice them in unison. What you receive from us now in our support services will remain exactly the same as what you will receive going forward. Our style and approach is what hundreds of clients are providing positive feedback on and we don’t want to change what is already a beautiful thing. The things that will change: You will see more of us, we want to give you more of what you need and as two we can better serve you. There will be more content, more blogs, more amazing products, additional Q&A’s, regular LIVE’s and so much more. You will see The Hush Co. has merged with the Slumber & Sprout online platforms (one of us had to merge). This doesn’t mean The Hush Co. is gone but it was just impracticable to have a partnership and continue to work across our individual sites. Katie had to let go of the pink but she’s recovering from her branding loss. Rather than having to follow both of us you will find us all in the one place giving you more of the good stuff. 03.01.2022 Ditch the rule books and remind yourself that there are no rules when it comes to you and your baby. The amount of times that I still hear Mum’s are being told that they shouldn’t do this or their baby should be doing that or this is wrong. It’s just absolute BS. Coming from a Mum where developmentally my first son did minimal things on track for his age, I can totally relate to the stress, anxiety and frustration you can feel when you are continuously reminded that things ju...st aren’t up to speed. I truly believe that as your child’s mother your intuition far outweighs the judgement and opinions of others. You will know if something is really wrong and you will seek help (we are good at this). Your child may not be at an age where they can communicate with words but you can understand your little one through their actions, behaviours, mood and responses. Read your child instead of the rule books (or read both but remind yourself that we are raising humans and not robots). I don’t like the rule books because I truly believe that anything to do with your child shouldn’t be looked at one dimensionally. Who agrees? See more
