09.01.2022 Red for strawberry. Iifts in and off the page with Velcro and a little peekaboo ladybug hiding under a leaf

08.01.2022 Love this set!

08.01.2022 Sensory quiet book continued... Green - leaf for threading a bead caterpillar through the holes, good for those fine motor skills. Blue- turtle that hides in a pocket and is attached to elastic for bouncing around fun. Fish buttons move from one side to the other for counting 1-3. Sequins to push around under the fish.

07.01.2022 Mummy finger mummy finger where are you? Here I am, here I am, how do you do? Teach fine motor skills using songs and finger puppets :) clothing, hair and skin colours can be changed

05.01.2022 Another set complete

04.01.2022 Finished my tester set of rainbow cards I’ve got my embroidery machine all set up to make the shapes and colour names more central for next time let me know if you’re interested in this set, I’m just waiting on more felt before I can make another set. Each card has a different textured shape on the back so can teach colour, shapes and textures Red- strawberry lifts up and sticks down, a strawberry is hiding under a leaf.... Orange- crinkle sound flower which spins round and round or once fine motor skills increase, the flower can be removed and teaches how to use buttons. A butterfly button can be fiddled with. Yellow- a sun with a squeaker in the centre, round the edge beads on different textured ribbons can be moved around and a butterfly button can be knocked against the beads to make a noise. Green - threading a bead caterpillar through the leaf to increase fine motor skills. Blue- a turtle on elastic can be hidden and pulled from the pocket. Sequins can be moved around and fish counting 1-3 can be moved from side to side. Purple- a peekaboo sheep in a house, pull the string on way to hide the sheep and then pull the other way for the sheep to reappear in the window. The pages can be attached to a ring to keep them together or removed to give to a child one at a time. Parental supervision should be used with kids under the age of 3 years due to the possibility of small parts being pulled off the pages.

03.01.2022 Weighted lap blanket. After chasing plastic pellets around my room yesterday I tonight successfully completed my 1st weighted lap blanket This weighs 1.5kg and will help to settle legs which don’t want to sit still and helps to focus in the classroom.

01.01.2022 In a field of horses be a unicorn! These eye patches can be put onto glasses to help people with eye injury or to help with vision therapy.
