Your property may not have a pressure limiting valve on it, Regulations require a 500kpa pressure limiting valve to be on the meter if the mains pressure is above 500kpa. ( 500kpa is still great pressure ) This will prevent stress and wear on your tapware and fixtures. and wont void the warranty on most tapware.
