25.01.2022 Bit of an awkward one this one, but good result. 45 degrees roof pitch will do that along with a couple of surprises with a lack of timber, support, purlins etc. Top it off it was a wet week. The lads didnt complain though. ... - colour: deep ocean - aluminium gutter guard (definitely needed here) - overflow slots in gutter (should be done more often)

24.01.2022 Some 18mm Cavibat Action with a vapour permeable sarking below that. Along with some nice straight lines, you wouldn’t even know it was on there, but serves a purpose in helping to allow the roof to breathe and reduce condensation issues within the roof space. As previously mentioned an interesting component of roofing to keep an eye on, as things are always changing/evolving in this area and we are trying to stay on top of things.

22.01.2022 Bit of Surfmist fascia and Zincalume roof and gutter. Done right Zincalume always comes up a treat.

22.01.2022 Little bit of fascia, gutter and custom orb roof along with flashings on this extension and new carport. Small but fiddly, those hand made fascia or gutter corners do look better on the small stuff though

21.01.2022 Thats a wrap. What a busy and sometimes overwhelming couple of months it has been. Would always like to get more done, but got most of what we set out to get done before Christmas. Weather didnt help deadlines, but everyone stuck to our guns to get it done. ... Thanks to our employees. Thanks to our customers and hope you are all happy, we cant thank you enough for your business. Look forward to working together next year. Sorry to those we couldnt get around to before Christmas. Thanks again to all and time for a meal tonight with the crew, couple of drinks and after all that some time with our family and friends. Merry Christmas.

21.01.2022 Havent put any thing up for a long time. Been very busy. This one we did a while back now, Half round gutter on this was a little different from the norm and we didnt mind it.

20.01.2022 Recently completed job in Launceston. Fairly basic from a roofing point of view, but a nice looking job upon completion. - custom orb wall and roof cladding... - half round gutters - fascia - flashing - panel rib eaves lining Good crew on site to work with too.

19.01.2022 Little bit different this one involving the use of kliplok 700 sheeting installed on a steeper pitch instead of being used on traditionally flatter roofs. Along with quad gutter and associated flashings all in colorbond colour "night sky." Looks particularly good with the top quality timber work done on the wall cladding by other tradesmen. To top it off we also installed 2 solar velux opening skylights and 1 velux roof window.

Good team effort here, a lot of work involved in this one for the untrained eye, most sheets has ribs dressed over and pans folded back under and hooked into flashing. Fairly unique roof design due to height restrictions. But how good does it look. ... #kliptray45 #structuur

14.01.2022 Quite an old little cottage this one. Woodland grey roofing, including step flashings on chimney to maintain that heritage look. Surfmist OG gutter, hand made corners, just because it looks better.

13.01.2022 Great result here. A nice transition from foot mould, to blade foot moulds, to barge cap flashings, with no face fixings. On top of that, the team made some really good progress with this. ... GREAT WORK!!!!!

10.01.2022 Things are rather busy lately: Translucent cladding (danpalon seamless roof) True oak 21 (higher 21 mm rib to suit heritage style corrugates)... KT45 monument wall cladding as per previous posts, with some solasafe clear polycarbonate sheeting. A sail/shade structure, cladded and transformed into a carport. Velux skylights.

08.01.2022 Some 10.5mm passive drainage battens along with proctor vapour permeable sarking to help reduce the effects of condensation inside the roof space. There is more consideration going into this more than ever lately, due to our climate here in Tasmania, condensation and mould issues. What is the best option?? ... Well were not sure actually, due to some confusion across the industry at the moment, but this install helps to keep condensation on the outside of the sarking, with the drainage battens allowing for drainage of the condensation to gutters and create air flow and separation between the roof sheet and sarking.

07.01.2022 Thought Id make the time to publish a few photos of our work over the last couple of months. Apologies for not getting to visit those requesting a quote, but have been caught up in the Christmas mayhem/rush and getting the required and requested work done. Some photos of Vaucluse house in Conara, more photos to follow, but was very happy with the fabrication of the 2 rain heads by Phil Davey Sheetmetal. All helping to get a quality finish.

06.01.2022 Funny old week, nothing went smoothly thats for sure, but thats OK, makes the good days even better. No better reason to bang a post up and reflect on the work we do and the satisfaction it gives us. If you get bored with it thats all good, but we like it.

05.01.2022 We were required to do something a little different for one of our local builders on this one, with some black alucobond wall cladding. Tricky site to add to it, but it was a quality build everywhere you looked. The results speak for themselves. ... #alucobond See more

05.01.2022 Ampelite fibreglass sheeting replacement. Made a huge difference with the light inside. Photos dont do it justice, as the lights are on in the before photos. The afterphotos the lights are not turned on. Made for a cleaner fresher look too.

Not great photography here to pick up on it, but there is a lot of work in the wall flashing details, which unfortunately I didnt snap. Silly me. ... Great job guys. Great clients. Top spot.

The team have worked very hard to achieve what we had to achieve by Christmas so well done. Unfortunately we could not get to a few prospective clients due to the work over load.
