25.01.2022 The Crafty Pint's analysis of the Hottest 100 Aussie craft beers is always an enlightening read. "The tyranny of numbers appears to have worked against SA and WA brewers too, with both states' representation largely in the hands of their biggest operators. In South Australia, Coopers scored three of their five, with one from Pirate Life and just the single indie brewer presence courtesy of Big Shed." South Australian breweries were seriously underrepresented in the poll and we hope to see more of a showing of our excellent beer next year!

24.01.2022 #Repost @andersonhillwines Big congrats to @andersonhillwines on this accolade, come find it in store today! #dwwa2020 #bestinshowtrophy #adelaidehillswine This wine from Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills should do the trick for anyone who has yet to realise that cool-climate accounts of the variety can be every bit as compelling as as their warm-climate counterparts. The wine is dark in colour, with lots of episcopal purple; the aromas are bright, lifted and billowing, not just cherry-fresh but with some billowing cherry blossom in there too. In the mouth, the wine is deep, round, poised and lively: an explosion of vivid fruits with a peppery finish.

20.01.2022 Have you heard of Wildflower brewing & blending? They make some fantastic contemporary Australian wild ales. What is a wild ale, I hear you say? Well a wild ale is, in our opinion, a beer that is partially fermented using a naturally occurring or cultured yeast or bacteria other than Saccharomyces Cerevisiae (normal alcohol yeast). What makes these beers special? @wildflowerbeer have hand foraged and propagated wild yeast strains taken from plants in the NSW bush and then blended these with a Belgian saison strain to make their house yeast culture, and truly Australian wild ales.

Well come on in and ask us! We have some brilliant things for spring such as the @matsosbeer fruity range which have half the sugar of normal premixed drinks! Meanwhile the @actual vodka seltzer has zero sugar! You don't need to sacrifice your nutrition to the diet gods this year, just come and try some of our (relatively) healthy low cal, low carb premixes!
