Jack went to register it yesterday ready to head north with it today only to find out he needed to have a HVRAS Inspection done on it! 16.01.2022 How do I know if I require a HVRAS inspection? Due to trailers coming in all shapes and sizes, working out if you need a HVRAS can be tricky. Here are some of the questions you will be asked to determine if a HVRAS inspection is required. For instance: Has your trailer or truck been unregistered for more than 3 months?... Is your trailer/truck currently registered in another state? Does your trailer have an ATM (Aggregated Trailer Mass) over 750kg? 01.01.2022 An urgent call out this afternoon to Bracken Ridge to carry out an inspection for a business trying to get their trailer registered. Unfortunately they were unaware of the HVRAS inspection requirement for registration until they arrived at Qld Transport to have their application processed and were told it could not be registered without it! My second same day inspection needed this week with a tow truck company having the same issue.
