09.01.2022 Written permission conditions changing from next week The general written permission conditions will change from next week, giving you more clarity around r...ules for State forest hunting. These are the standard conditions that apply to all State forest hunting. Some changes for pig doggers include: the ability to hunt at night with dogs whilst having a firearm or bows stored securely no longer required to have UHF radio when hunting at night can now hunt alone at night with dogs, no longer need to be part of a group. The conditions also now include information regarding the use of drones while hunting on public land. It is important that you familiarise yourself with the amended conditions before you head out to hunt. You must also read your written permission carefully for any specific conditions relating to the forest you have booked.
