14.01.2022 And just like that, this grand old girl on Borilla Street has a new lease on life! Was great to be able to complete this full renovation for Department of Education, including: - full bathroom rebuild - full kitchen rebuild - new built in robes, built to match original VJ lining - new flooring through out... - full electrical and part AC upgrade - complete internal and external paint - new window dressings She’s come up a treat in her heritage colours, and the new teacher/s coming to Emerald are going to have a great traditional Queenslander to live in, with soaring 3m ceilings giving it a light and breezy feel. And now we’re moving 20 houses up the street to start the next one

07.01.2022 An honour to have Mark Bailey MP - Labor for Miller Queensland Minister for Transport, and Rockhampton Member Barry O'Rourke - Member for Rockhampton on site today, to view HWC’s just completed Utility Facility for Queensland Rail . This design and construct project has been a fantastic job for us, and to be recognised with a visit like this means a great deal to HWC. Over 75% of HWC’s work load comes from various government departments, and were proud to be contributing to the progress and economy of Central Queensland with builds like this.

05.01.2022 Great to have handed over this new facility to Queensland Rail in Gracemere a couple of week ago. With its incorporated gantry crane, the building will be used for servicing traction motors from the Queensland Rail Travel tilt trains, plus servicing and garaging of a new locomotive breakdown response vehicle. As a full design and construct tender/contract, it was great to have Tim English and the team at Capricorn Engineering And Drafting Services (CEADS) handle the incredible amount of detail to meet the clients requirements. As always, all of our subbies have done an amazing job, and we’d be lost without them.
