25.01.2022 I gotta say, the best part of this job is the amazing people I meet. To be welcomed into homes and treated like family and gifted things that have been in their family for years (like these Christmas ornaments that I have the pleasure of making a winter wonderland for my beautiful daughter), is just such a blessing. My little Mini Hero just loves helping her Daddy, whether it be pressure washing some doors for a bond clean, wiping after I spray or taking 45 minutes to dish wash a bowl and 2 spoons. 23.01.2022 Spring came early!!! What an awesome day sorting out this lovely gentleman's home. - Declutter, clean and organise! I laughed when he brought out his blanket and phone and said he was sleeping on the grass and ordering take out so he didn't mess up my work, haha.

21.01.2022 I'm a big fan of Demineralised Water. I took the liberty of removing a long standing stain, red texta, from one of my clients carpets with this simple and cheap product, a good quality microfibre cloth and some elbow grease.

18.01.2022 My new steam mop. And yet another option to sterilise and clean your home and another reason to chose Housework Heroes Shailer Park. I love that the mop heads elastically wrap around the mop and not use Velcro. So they stay secure through the entire mop even when you lift and move to a new area.... I Also love that it's drip fed so you can fill as you go and go go go. And it has a trigger so unlike other models you can stop steaming no matter where you are without risk of burning yourself or others. It's light, powerful and can control with 1 hand. 16.01.2022 Antibacterial premium microfibre cloths, hot washed at 90'C with steam cycle and then steamed more than a dim sim at 500grams per minute with the Terminator Of Irons, to guarantee any bacteria or virus are killed and you only get the cleanest and safest of cloths in your home.

16.01.2022 I gotta say.... Steam mops for the win! I was doing a spring clean for a lovely a family that have been in hospital with their little boy for 4 months. I wanted the floors disinfected without a strong lingering smell to upset their pets and little man.... So I vacuumed, mopped with Orange Squirt disinfectant and then clean mopped over the top then to go next level, I ran the steam mop over the tiles and look at what it picked up that the vacuum and two mops left behind! Incredible. But good news is their floors are well and truly sanitised without any over powering smell and everyone is happy.

15.01.2022 I certianly put the Hero in Housework Heroes with this job. 18.5hrs it took, and I stopped once for 5min to eat a pizza. But to take a home that was destroyed, to a home thats ready to sell, was super rewarding.... FYI for anyone that is thinking about painting.. paint looks best on walls, not tha carpet, tiles or towel rails :-/

10.01.2022 Pictures worth a thousand words. Recent bond clean took a lot of elbow grease, and according to the owner, I removed scum and hard water stains on the shower the last bond cleaner couldn't get off.

09.01.2022 I eat 'Hard Water Stains' for breakfast. Check out this shower screen I turned the clock back on today. Used my secret ingredient plus a lot of elbow grease. Came up brand new. The lovely owner was pleasantly shocked.... Nothing more satisfying than leaving a home and hearing a happy client yell to their partner 'oh my gosh, come look at the stove, and the shower', wow! '. #LoveMyJob.

09.01.2022 Just wanted to do a little shout out to all my clients. You all mean the world to me, and I value and appreciate you more than you will ever know. To be able to make a difference in your life energises me.... Then when I get so blown away by people like Sue & Pat that snuck off during a clean and bought my daughter a present for her 5th Birthday and wrapped it beautifully, or people like Kevin who has been a cabinet maker for 14 years and has been emailing me in the wee hours of the night and lending me his tools and advice to build my daughter a doll house for her birthday or Melanie who from the start has offered such great feedback, communication & loyalty I honestly have no words. Such kindness, such generosity, and I am in such the right place at the right time and love my job, life and everything in it. Thank you all.

I Spring cleaned her home and I tell you what, if I am half as with it and mobile at 90, as she is at 101, i'll be happy. Wowzer. I love my job!
