21.01.2022 LIFESTYLES OF OUR GREEDY AGED CARE BOSSES Meet the owners of Epping Gardens. The nursing home at the centre of a mass COVID19 outbreak where our members told us... since the first outbreak there has been no PPE, only gloves. When we asked for PPE we were told there was a shortage. These bosses have form when it comes to profiteering off our elderly. One HWU member, who earns $22 an hour, said Epping Gardens have always been short-staffed. One night there was 2 carers to 150 residents. That’s how these bosses are able to afford their latest Maserati’s, $10million Canterbury mansions and Prada shoes collections. By overworking undervalued staff and cutting costs wherever possible. Even on PPE. This industry must change. Join the HWU today. Go to hwu.org.au or call (03) 9341 3300. For more, click on: https://www.smh.com.au//golden-age-over-for-maserati-drivi
