04.01.2022 A car wash guy trying to move the car to another place. Obviously hes got his foot resting on the accelerator and when he wanted to stop..he of course pressed the accelerator instead of the brake and the rest is history...lesson learnt...always ready to brake when reversing and not ready to accelerate...

04.01.2022 KEEPING TO THE LEFT ON OUR ROADS Somerville HWP would like to remind all drivers of the requirements to keep left, when either; - driving on a multi-lane road... where the speed limit is over 80 km/h or - where a "KEEP LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING" sign is displayed. Roads in our area where this applies include Peninsula Link, Eastlink, Mornington Peninsula Fwy, Frankston Fwy & Western Port Hwy (duplicated section) & parts of the Nepean Hwy (eg between Mornington & Mt.Eliza) adn Moorooduc Hwy. Drivers are only allowed to drive in the right lane on these sections of road when overtaking (during which the speed limit still applies), are making a right turn / U-turn from the centre of the road, are avoiding an obstruction, or the traffic in the other lane is congested. The fine for failing to keep left is $161 and 2 demerit points. So keep that money in your pocket, don't incur demerit points and prevent people behind you from becoming frustrated.
