25.01.2022 Offering two quality yearlings for sale, both are serious Landmark, Show, Challenge or Campdraft prospects. Out of well performed Dr Jekyll mares, campaigned by the family. Both mares are Novice Campdrafters, National and State show winners, both have been used in our youth programme. Hydeout Xena also played representative polocrosse, Hydeout Gabby has also won at Sydney Royal. Hydeout Image (bay filly) is by Millbrook Reaction who is by Adios Reflect. Reaction is a wel...l campaigned campdrafter owned by the Maytom family. Hydeout Spitfire (chestnut colt) is by Glenmore Partnership Stryder who is by Acres Destiny. Stryder is a very well performed campdrafter and show horse. Time doesnt allow us to take these yearlings through to their full potential so we regretfully offer them for sale. They are well handled and currently in paddock condition. Spitfire is full brother to Hydeout Firefly who sold for $21000 at Landmark and finalled in the Landmark Classic and placed in the Challenge the following year. 23.01.2022 Last year Hydeout Jeanie was lucky enough to win a service to Tamarang Destinys Serenity for winning the Champion Working Mare at ASHS Nationals. We sent her full sister Hydeout Gabby and last night she delivered this beautiful bay filly. Look at the "bling"!!

23.01.2022 Huge Congratulations to Katie De Jong and Teena Bridge on winning the ASH Prince Of Wales Trophy with Garcon Fiesta. She is a wonderful mare and she and Katie are an awesome team.

21.01.2022 Fantastic weekend at Eastern Branch Show. Hydeout Macca was the star. Champion led gelding, second in the working and hack, third in the gents hack- Iain cant sit trot as well as Adam Wilton and Chris Ware!!. Then he won the Open Challenge and the Super Horse of the show. 2nd in the first round of the Open Draft but no luck in the final. Many thanks to Baileys of Greta, Blaxland Inn, Marlem Saddlery for the fantastic sponsorship. Special thanks to Hydeout sponsor Raymond Terrace Rural Traders. Hydeout Spitfire was second in the yearling colt, Hydeout Gabby second in the Mares progeny and Hydeout third in the Breeders group. All in all a great weekend with the horses.

17.01.2022 Home from the Nationals..... its always great to catch up with everyone. Really happy with Macca, he made the final of the open draft, placed 7th in the campdraft section of the Open Challenge and 9th overall and today won the Station Horse - Gelding 5 & over with a very impressive 97!!

16.01.2022 Over the past ten days we have had the absolute pleasure of hosting Lara Hamblin from NSW. Lara is a 2018 youth ambassador for the Australian Stock Horse Society. She has had a busy week training with Iain. She has ridden our young green Lucy and Macca. Helped handle the foal and do the ground work on our Conman filly. Lara is a perfect ambassador for the society always looking to learn and help. We have really enjoyed having her and showing her a little bit of Tassie. Great initiative ASHS.

08.01.2022 This lovely filly Hydeout Image is Lot 78 at the Fountain of Youth Sale. This photo was taken earlier in the year. She has grown into a lovely sensible filly. Her mother is Hydeout Xena (Dr Jekyll) who was an outstanding mare exceling in everything from pony club, drafting to polocrosse. Her sire is Millbrook Reaction (Adios Reflect) a well campaigned campdrafter owned by the Maytom family. This filly would suit all disciplines and would be a perfect project for a young rider. 06.01.2022 A while between posts..sorry. Iain and the horses have been busy here in Tassie. Finally the horses are used every day for work with Iain on the feedlot and paying their way! Not all work though. They also had a very successful campdraft season. Hydeout Pixie won the Finals maiden . Hydeout Jeanie won the Novice Hi Point for the year and Hi Point ASHS. All four won and placed in many drafts through out the season. Our thanks to the hardworking committee of Campdrafting Tasmania, the many generous sponsors and cattle donors.

02.01.2022 With a serious lack to time and riders here at the Hydeout, we decided to loan Hydeout Pixie (Hydeout Freeman/Hydeout Gabby) to Mutesi Blake to ride and train. Last weekend they took her home. This weekend they decided to take her to RIverina Branch Show. Results to date, Reserve Champion Led Mare and 4th in the Station Horse. We wish Tess all the best with this mare. We are so happy to see her being used and hope you have a loads of fun with her.
