24.01.2022 At HSA, we take quality assurance seriously. With each custom seal made, we measure the final product several times to ensure exact measurements are met to ensure you get the right seal the first time, every time. Look for this photo in the March edition of the Australian Mining Review where we are featured with an article on custom seal technology and how we service our mining customers with specialised seals for large mine shovels and haul trucks. #cncmachinist #hydraulicseals #miningequipment #australianmining #australianminingreview #qualityassurance

09.01.2022 Today we want to introduce you to Edward Palmer, Operations Manager at our Sydney office. Let's get to know Ed! Q. How long have you worked in the industry? A. I got my start in the industry when I joined HSA in July 2010.... Q. What’s your favourite thing about your job? A. Some of the more challenging tasks, such as solving problems that the customers have. For example, a customer came in with a new fitting for a petrol pump, and I basically came up with the design of a custom seal to use with it. Also the flexibility of my work going from measuring seals to working on spreadsheets. Q. Most interesting memory from your time at HSA? A. Probably designing the 3 catalogues that we have had from scratch, along with my work on the website. I did come up with the format for the stockcodes so that they are simple enough that everyone would know exactly what the product is based on the stockcode. Q. What do you like to do in your spare time? A. Table top gaming is my main hobby, and I have a new puppy. I’m also a Venturer Scout Leader and enjoy camping, caving, abseiling, and white water kayaking through Scouts. I was appointed the Hume Region Venturer Commissioner this year, basically managing all of the venturer leaders in the area. #MeetOurTeam
