In your position at Hydro Excavac you will be required to: * Operate our vacuum excavator trucks & units to complete jobs (80% labouring, 20% truck driving) * Assisting customers where possible * Assist with generating, organising and managing of jobs * Minor vehicle maintenance & cleaning * Assist with ensuring our company services are delivered in a safe and efficient manner * Support other team members in solving problems and completing tasks * At times work outside of Mackay * Do on call/rostered work at night and on weekends when required To be successful in this role you will have: * Experience as a vacuum excavator operator, preferred but not essential. * Current MR or HR Truck licence, essential * 3-5 years experience in the Civil and construction industry * Experience in the excavating & earthmoving field * Be physically fit * A current blue/white safety construction induction card * Excellent organisation skills * An excellent phone manner and phone skills * A passion for customer service * Excellent communication & language skills * Initiative to get jobs done and assist in solving problems that may arise * Time management skills * The ability to prioritise tasks * The ability to work independently and in a team environment * Have current mine inductions and qualifications would be advantageous. 13.01.2022 Emergency call out to expose water pipe with a bit of a leak :O -_- Luckily we were able to expose the leak quickly so it could be repaired ASAP!

08.01.2022 This week our Throwback Thursday is only taking us back about 3 years but it was a great progressive moment for the company. It takes us to the time when the new truck shed was constructed at the depot. A pretty exciting time showing a sign of a growth and expansion of the company.
