20.01.2022 Kawasaki Z1300 carburettor complete dismantle & rebuild. Bodies hydroblasted, fittings plated, all new jets, needles, gaskets etc. Look like new!

17.01.2022 My Kawasaki H2 750 build I posted this on the H2 site but thought this would be of interest to everyone here! One advantage of having my own hydroblasting set up is that I can turn around my own parts in an instant! Photos show original state, strip down, rebuild with recon crank, new bearings & reshimmed gearbox, back in frame with primary and clutch side reassembled. Top-end in place with rebuilt carbs.... Will post more as job progresses!

08.01.2022 The H2 restoration continues...there are a multitude of rubber components on this bike and they are all very "tired" after 42 years of use! They also cost a fortune (like all H2 parts) to replace. I experimented regrinding them (you can't cut or machine them easily) by mounting a Dremel grinder on the lathe tailstock and holding the component in the lathe with a simple arbor. Very happy with the results!

03.01.2022 H2 750 Build continues.... Waiting on the bodywork paint to be done...refurbished the handlebar switches. Hydroblasting works well not just stripping the paint but also on cleaning the electrical connections and plastic.
