Designed by @johnwardlearchitects for their Limestone House project, and crafted from @hydrowood messmate, it includes two removable trays with felt-lined bases so they can slide along the slot at the centre of the tabletop. One tray features tiles matched to the kitchen, the other is effectively a wicker basket, for bread. The deepest red Myrtle comes from highly fertile soils on basalt. The colour is vibrant, combining subtle variations in tone with the texture and sheen of wavy and fiddleback features to produce a surface alive with character and individuality.
