19.01.2022 Half already gone. Strapped and chained to hold it together. Final cuts and the stump fell in half.

17.01.2022 Very dead tree, much higher than the ewp. Two fences under the right hand side, as well as an established garden, plus a large plastic septic pump out system. We knew there would be a lot of flying debris, but were able to direct the fall so all the flying limbs went into the open garden area. ( head was cut at about 20 metres)

02.01.2022 This tree was much taller than the ewp , so we tied the top 15 metres of the tree to the trunk, and then put in a scarf and back cut between where the head of the tree was tied to it's trunk. We previously threw a long rope up into the head as high as we could, then tied the long rope to a 4wd, slewed the ewp out of harms way and the ground crew in the 4wd pulled the top over. Our scarf and back cut was at about 23 metres. A lot of weight in the head of the tree, hence the stripped bark.
