23.01.2022 As a coach, facilitator, guide, leader - it's important we understand what we are not... and what we aim to be: **We aren't** ... - Advisors that turns into doing it all for them. - Coaches that comes from a place of FEAR to get people to do things. - Leaders with a "do as I say, not as I do" approach - Guides or Facilitators that are out to only build their credibility and identity. **We aim to be:** - Advisors that take a holistic approach and ask great questions at critical moments - leaving space for the client/player/employee to step into the moment and achieve their version of greatness. - Coaches that comes from a place of LOVE to get people to do things. - Leaders with a 'Do as I do' and model/influence the way forward - lifting others up to take the lead along the journey. - Guides or Facilitators that are out to grow their participants into better people. Steven Hansen, the coach of the New Zealand All Blacks was asked in a press conference once about his players making courageous decisions, and also the coaches view on leaving "key people of influence" out of the starting team. His response to the players involved was: We know what’s under the surface, we just need him to take ownership of that and turn up and say ‘I’m in’." You can only lead a horse to water, you can’t make it drink - so he has to decide to get thirsty. So as leaders, coaches, trusted advisors, facilitators and guides... how are we managing the environment... to create an atmosphere where the participants decide to get thirsty.... to say " I'm in ".



22.01.2022 Sometimes... we get stuck. Feels like we're paddling upstream... and not going anywhere... Sometimes... we gain enough awareness and courage to say...... - There are no competitors - There are no bad circumstances - just new learnings - There are no bad people - just people who are put there at that point in time to help us move forward from old beliefs Sometimes... we have to stop pointing the fingers to everyone else... put those fingers and hands on your heart... and allow ourselves the time to: - stand back - observe - feel the lesson - watch it unfold - be grateful that it's happening 'for us' (and not 'to us') and choose to get out of our own way and let amazing things happen! Because amazing things will happen. Allow things to grow for you... happen for you...and choose not to let your logic, limit what abundance is in store for you. Because there is plenty coming to you... all the time! Your only job is to... - open the door - let it in - say thank you - and smile.

Such powerful words, when someone goes on their own "hero's journey" or quest... and stands face to face with their greatest fear or adversary... to be able to have the "learnings" that you've had along the way... to find the courage to stand up and speak your truth and be the voice of purpose and change.... Here is a snippet of the words: "Let her come to me... I have crossed the horizon to find you... I know your name... They have stolen the heart from inside you... but this does not define you...
