24.01.2022 Connection - a relationship in which a person or thing is linked or associated with something else In a world of more connections I feel we are less connected than ever. An important time for connections is as a new mum. We need the support, the kind ear, the sounding board, the commonality of shared life experiences. Join @bubbly_stace and @trishcumminghypnobirthing for an opportunity to connect in a meaningful way. https://staceysofferings.com/shop/newmamacircle

23.01.2022 Who are your hosts? @bubbly_stace Stacey Lee Turner is a yoga and meditation teacher, reiki healer, dietitian, personal trainer and new mama. She’s passionate about connecting with other mama’s and sharing her potent practices and tangible tools around health, well-being, movement and mindset to support others in living their best lives.... Trish Cumming is a HypnoBirthing Educator and Birth Doula in Brisbane. She is also a Clinical Hypnotherapist with a private practice in Brisbane. She had two traumatic births, followed by an amazing HypnoBirth which was the catalyst to her current chosen profession. Her work is her passion! She loves connecting people especially mums, she knows the value of a village to support mums as they raise the next generation and hopes that these circles help women get in touch with their inner mum magic!

22.01.2022 Neither of us were happy with ourselves in these photos however I’m hoping Moran won’t mind me posting anyway. We are both Birth Doulas and love our work (though it never seems like work ). In our profession it is imperative to have someone you can rely on and trust to be there for you as a back up. Though neither of us have ever had to call the other into a birth or take our place for whatever reason, it helps us to know that there is someone there for us so we can be th...ere for you. So, if you hire either one of us as your Birth Doula the other is your back up. This is us! The photos were taken last week by one of my HypnoBirthing Doula clients who used @2lifedoula placenta encapsulation services at the first birthday celebration of another Doula client who did @hypnobirthinginternational with @2lifedoula #connections @2lifedoula @trishcumminghypnobirthing #brisbanedoula #brisbanedoulaservices #hypnobirthingdoula #birthsupport @ New Farm Park

21.01.2022 This image is from the front cover of a version of the Dr Grantly Dick Read book Childbirth Without Fear. What does childbirth without fear look like??? It looks like a huge range of experiences. ... To be free of fear allows the uterine muscles to work unimpeded by tension - just as Mother Nature intended! Dr Grantly Dick Read was the pioneer of the ‘fear, tension, pain’ cycle after he witnessed pain free birthings. HypnoBirthing will help you work with your body so you can avoid the ‘fear, tension, pain’ syndrome. The front cover photograph by Lynsey Stone is of mum Gina who describes the birth: 8:23am His head delivers. My body tingles with joy. I begin to scream I LOVE YOU BABY! Over and over again as his body delivers. I can’t stop myself from saying it. I’m so overjoyed. I feel like a lion roaring these words. I feel ferocious and strong. I feel beautiful and powerful. I feel completely conscious and primitive. He is born into mine and Cody’s eager hands and I bring him to me. There are no wordsthe perfect birth! #hypnobirthinginternational #fearfreebirth #brisbanehypnobirthingdoula #hypnobirthingbrisbane

17.01.2022 A powerful message from this homebirth mama #Repost @mrsking987 with @get_repost My darling surprise twins came into this world in a hurry, with just 1 h...our of active labour and birthed gracefully into our bath at home. We expected a placenta and instead were blessed with a twin. Both midwives were suspended, controversy was ignited and their story circulated all over the world, with over 1.5 million views, comments and likes. So why was their birth such a big deal? Because it shocked people. Because it highlighted the underlying birthing culture we have all unknowingly become a part of. A culture that has led us to believe that a natural and instinctual approach to birth is not safe, desirable or achievable. A culture that has unknowingly ingrained in us a subconscious fear around our ability to carry and birth our own babies. Now we simply enter ‘the system’. Get pregnant, get a schedule, get told where to be, who is going to touch you, poke you, scan you, and tell you if your baby is ‘normal’. And we don’t question it because we are led to believe that it is all very necessaryrather than the truth, which is that it is all optional, and each mother should evaluate and individually select the right care for her and her baby. The system has taken away the single most important question that every expecting mother should be asking herself. ‘how do I want to carry and birth my baby?’ What specific tests, scans and advisors will make ME personally feel safe and empowered? The system has created a distorted reality that we are not capable of knowing what our bodies and babies need, and in turn has stopped us from connecting in to our powerful mother’s instincts. And if we don’t connect in, we forgetwe forget what a truly instinctual, natural and transformational process pregnancy and birthing can be...we forget that the process is as individual and unique to us as our own thumb print, and in essence, we forget who we truly arepowerful, capable and intuitive MOTHERS. We forget that it is our rite of passage to transcend and bring our babies in to the world, our way. #surprisetwinsatbirth #homebirth #waterbirth Full story at Www.surprisetwinhomebirth.com See more

17.01.2022 Natural Birth If you’re pregnant and want a natural birth, I highly recommend this book as well as finding a @hypnobirthinginternational accredited practi...tioner to do the 5 week course with! We learnt so much and felt so informed and empowered going into our labour and birth, so that even when things didn’t quite go as planned, we felt able to make the best choice in every situation I would also highly recommend a doula and if you’re Brissie based, @trishcumminghypnobirthing is the lady to go to she was an amazing support to both Matty and I through our pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum! Thank you Trish @embellysh #hypnobirthing #hypnobirthinginternational #doula #naturalbirth #pregnant #pregnancyphotoshoot #maternityphotography

17.01.2022 For the mothers that are to come For the mothers that have been For the mothers that are unseen It seemed so natural to want to be a mother, I never knew how hard it would be - to have your heart shaken and stirred so much you sometimes think it will break - but it never does - this is the heart of a mother ... Thank you to the women that have honoured me by sharing their journey to motherhood. Remember that you are seen and that what you do every day - be a mother - is the most important thing you’ll ever do. xxx The three that make me a mother (photo taken 2012)

16.01.2022 Physiological birth works best when women can instinctively choose a position that feels right for them. When free of fear women can access this instinct more readily. #hypnobirthingbrisbane #hypnobirthingbrisbanedoula #hypnobirthinginternationalaustralia #hypnobirthinginternational ... #instinctivebirth See more
