17.01.2022 What The Heck Is Hypnosis! Hypnosis is kind of like a trance state... which basically means that you’re super relaxed and we work on suggestions and heightened imagination . It’s not really like sleep because you’re alert the whole time, it’s most often compare to daydreaming or feeling like hmmm you know when your vague out. ... You are fully conscious but you tune out most of the what’s happening around you and you focus intently on the subject that’s being suggested to you, to the near exclusion of any other thoughts. So by suggesting a solution to your problem and embedded it deep within your imagination and deep within your subconscious we can create new neural pathways, new ways of thinking. This can also be compared to say when you’re really intently watching a movie it’s an imaginary world that can seem real to you and you can actually engage your own emotions for example a scary movie would invoke fear or a love story can create heartache and sadness or complete joy this is what it’s like when we do hypnosis. For Hypnosis to work and for it to be successful it has to be what you really want, so coming to my office it’s probably your last resort you’ve most likely tried everything else and now it’s time to have some success.
