22.01.2022 What areas of your life need more balance? How do you feel when the alarm goes off on Monday morning? Do you jump out of bed excited for the day? Or is it a battle to drag yourself up? There are two big things that will effect how you feel Monday morning, your mindset and your body.... Firstly, if you are excited by the week you have ahead, if you are feeling inspired and passionate, getting up will be super easy. Your mind is naturally motivated. This really makes a huge difference if you have a great work/life balance and also if you love your job. Most of us spend the majority of our time at work so it is important you feel passionately about it. Secondly what you put into your body will greatly effect how you feel when you wake up in the morning. When you have eaten light, healthy food, your body will be energised. When you have over indulged on heavy, fatty foods, it's hard work for your body to process it and to get going. Finding a healthy balance in your mindset and body is vital. Ensure you have exciting days or events planned in your week that will motivate your mind and give you something to work towards. Take care with what you put in your body because if effects more than just what size and shape you are, it will impact how you feel, how you act and how motivated you are. Balance is the key! What areas need more balance in your life?

22.01.2022 #[NEW BLOG] Are You Struggling To Get Motivated? Discover This One Simple Switch That Will Ensure You Get Your Motivation Back Instantly! It's so simple when ...you know how Do you feel like you have lost your motivation? Do you feel like everything is an effort as though you are having to drag yourself out of bed to exercise, or fight with yourself to find the strength to choose the healthy food? If so this is going to work wonders for you! Today I am going to show you that your motivation is not lost, it is in fact just moving in the wrong direction. Once you know this simple switch you will get it back easily and start reaching your goals! So when it comes to motivation you can either be moving AWAY from DISCOMFORT or TOWARDS COMFORT. Let me explain... So when you are moving AWAY from DISCOMFORT your thought process will go a little like this.' Well I know I need to go the gym and eat healthy because I feel really uncomfortable in my clothes, I hate the way I look in my underwear, I'm fed up of feeling sluggish and down, my legs are fat, my tummy has rolls and I've had enough!'. These are all the things that make you feel DISCOMFORT and are trying to MOVE AWAY from. So why is this a problem? When you are MOVING AWAY from DISCOMFORT the motivation to do so can only last a short amount of time. I will show you why... So you decide to go to the gym to fix the above problems, you start a diet and you begin to lose a few kilos. After a few weeks, you start to notice some changes, you start to feel MORE COMFORTABLE. So you decide you don't have to go to the gym 3 times this week, you will just go once. And you decide that it doesn't matter if you buy one pack of cookies and eat them because you've lost some weight and before you know it that new routine is out window, the old habits creep back in and you are feeling uncomfortable (DISCOMFORT) again. Your clothes are tighter, your mood drops and you start beating yourself up for letting all your hard work go to waste. If anything you feel worse than you did before you started. And guess what then you go and do it all over again! Have you been here? This was a common theme in my life for a long time! This is the dreaded yo-yo that we get stuck in, its frustrating, draining and makes you feel like a failure. But I will be honest with you, you were never going to win this, it's an impossible struggle when your motivation is MOVING AWAY from DISCOMFORT. # So how do you change this? What you need to do to prevent the yo-yo from happening is just continuously move TOWARDS COMFORT. The best way to do this is to focus on WHAT YOU WANT. Not on what you don't want, which was what the above example was doing. So you need to actually get your mind to focus on what it is you want to achieve. Why do you want to eat healthy? Why do you want to be active? Why do you want to work on your mindset? What is it you WANT. Your mind needs to be motivated with positives. It needs to be able to picture and focus on where it is heading and what you WANT. So write a list of all the things you want. This sounds such a simple shift but it makes a HUGE difference. All of sudden your mind will know what it is aiming for, it will focus on the positives and of course it will be motivated to go and get them, because they are inspiring, exciting and fill you with joy! So go and do this exercise right now, write a list of 50 things you want from being healthy, active and working on your mindset. Is it you want to be fitter, slimmer, more toned, more focused, calm, peaceful, whatever it is write it down, make sure they are ALL POSITIVES. Once you have your list read it every morning. Ensure your mind is focused on your goals and the positives it is moving towards. This will make such a difference to your success and instead of chasing motivation you will be NATURALLY INSPIRED!

12.01.2022 Did you know that by the time you are 8 years of age you have formed 85% of the neurological connections in your mind? This means your beliefs, values, habits, behaviours, emotions are all formed and hard wired in you and your future is then constructed and based on these neurological connections. How crazy is that? This is why it can feel as though the limiting beliefs, values, habits, behaviours you are experiencing are so deep rooted and difficult to shift.... However it is possible to reprogram your mind and change the things that are not serving you positively and are keeping you stuck in the past and in the mindset of that 8 year old... we all do it. Think about it, what fears do you have? What limiting beliefs do you run over and over again? For example a very common one of women I work with is 'I'm not good enough'. Now think back to where it originated from, the first time you ever felt that way. It will be in your childhood, guaranteed. We are not born with these beliefs, we are born pure and whole. They develop over time based on our experiences and then start to govern everything we do. In order to change what you are experiencing now and to create the future you WANT, you HAVE to clear these things from the past, from where they began and break that neurological pathway in your mind. (Sounds technical but when you know how it's simple!) Spend some time considering what beliefs, values, habits, behaviours and emotions are governing you and work out where they came from. It's a great exercise to start the process off!

06.01.2022 Did you know that your thoughts create your reality? What you run internally will be what you experience externally. If you want to change your external reality..., you have to change your internal thoughts! A challenge for you this week.... Track your thoughts, what are you running on repeat internally? What does that voice in your head say most of the day? Is it positive or negative? Are you running thoughts such as 'I'm not good enough?' 'I'll never be able to do that.' 'Why should I bother?' Because if so this will cause some big problems in your reality and it needs to change! Get yourself a small notebook, or use the notes app on your phone and track your thoughts this week. You spend all day long in your own mind so pay attention. This is step number one to being able to change them. Once you know what thoughts you are running, step number 2 is you have to make the switch and reprogram them to be more positive. If you are running, 'I'm not good enough' you HAVE to switch it to 'I AM GOOD ENOUGH' and it's as simple as that. You have to take back control and make the switch. The more you catch yourself running those old thoughts, the more you can switch them and take charge. You have to consciously do this every time it pops up. There is no time for these old beliefs and thoughts when you have a goal to reach! Give it a go and let me know how you get on smile emoticon This process is a great way to ensure your mind is working for you and not against you! What thoughts are you running over and over?
