13.01.2022 GILLIES RANGE CRASH A female driver is lucky to be alive after a truck carrying a crane slid down the side of a mountain on the Gillies Range this afternoon.... The 37-year-old escaped with a few minor cuts when the truck she was driving rolled over just before 1pm. Sergeant Steve Bakss says its incredible the woman survived. Police are investigating the crash. The Gillies Range Road is expected to be closed tomorrow as crews work to remove the vehicle. Drivers are advised to take an alternative route.

Somehow mostly everyone misses each other. Makes you appreciate the road rules back here in Aus. As you can see, it is left hand drive.

08.01.2022 Truck Accident The Bruce Highway near Innisfail is expected to remain closed for several hours following a truck crash in the early hours of this morning. It...s understood the semi-trailer was travelling north when it slid into an embankment on the opposite side of the road 500 meters north of Woopen Creek Road. The driver of the truck managed to escape without any injuries. Two cranes will be used to remove the truck, detours are in place for small vehicles.
