25.01.2022 This makes me proud thank you to all my families who nominated me for the 2020 educator of the year. Not only was I lucky to receive a certificate I also got my name published in the family day care jigsaw magazine. It made my day 6 years in a row now I have been nominated let’s hope this year will make it 7

24.01.2022 Covid-19 update As all business are sending through information to tell us all how they are helping stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus . I wanted to also let all my families know that I too am doing my very best to help STOP the spread. We are already at a low risk as we have a very small group of children in the same space at one time. ( myself with 4 children)... However here are some of the things I am doing: - As always I do a thorough clean each night. In addition to this I have now also gotten a cleaner to come in and give it another deep clean on a Saturday ready for Monday. -I like always am always washing my hands regularly and I have also been encouraging the children to wash their hands with soap and water even more regular then normal. -There is hand sanitiser available at the sign in table as always and I have managed to track down some more to re fill it. -There are signs up also to remind visitors to always wash their hands. - families that have been overseas or have been in contact with someone overseas/ or with the Covid-19 virus are not coming into care until 14 days. -if a child is showing any signs that they are unwell I am asking parents to pick their child up and they are getting checked by a doctor before returning back into care. In addition to all of this I have also completed a short course on the Covid-19 to gain myself more knowledge of virus. To all my families, friends and followers please stay save, try and support you local and small business as best as you can because we all need to pull together in this tough time otherwise we are going to see so many small business close down with this tough time. 22.01.2022 This morning we made a obstacle course outside while the sun was out. We played for over an hour. We are all very tired and hot now!! This was so much fun.

21.01.2022 Friday fun had by everyone

21.01.2022 Its wet and cold. So we decided to make a bus!!! We were singing the wheels on the bus at group time and then we found the biggest box we had and made a bus. We painted it and our bus has lots of wheels!!! We then sat in the bus while singing the song. The littler babies today had fun exploring the toys together.

18.01.2022 Thank you to my wondeful families who nominated me for educator of the year. This is my 6th year in the row I have been nominated and I feel so happy and proud. It is an absolute privilege to be able to come into work each day and look after your little humans. I wouldn’t want to do anything else. Thanks again. Have a wonderful day

Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5.00... Every ticket purchase helps us raise money so that their is more experience the children I care for can have. More toys and more craft. Every ticket helps, you are not just supporting a small business you are also supporting my family. I wish everyone that Brough a ticket could win!!! 04.01.2022 Doctor play today ‘did you know role playing play is so important for your child/ren. It helps them build a sense and feeling of belonging and it also helps imagination play/thinking. Today we definitely had some imagination play going on. Today Hannah had a sore knee and had to go to miss doctor H, miss doctor L and mr doctor L. I was told that I had 1000 worms in my knee. They had to perform ‘a little cut’ it won’t hurt Hannah as they were pulling the thousand worms out of my knee they all thought it was so funny Here is some quick snaps of laughter we all had when pulling the worms out of Hannah’s knee. 02.01.2022 Painting fun!!! Older children asked if they could make a torch. We found some resources from our recycling and craft cupboard. We were also doing some dot painting as we were looking at diffrent cultures and diversity through group time. The children had so much fun.

01.01.2022 Older children are launching their rockets younger children are learning to put on their shoes. Starting life skills at a young age is very important. Did you know that a child under 5 can learn up to 5 different languages. They use the term childs brain is like a sponge it soaks up so much fun fact Thursday

01.01.2022 New year new placemats for our table. The children love that they have their on special spot at the eating table and it gives them a great sense of belonging. Which is actually what I want each and every child to feel when coming to Hannah’s. The children used the stickers we sat down together and choose online last year so they were all very excited that they had arrived and could use them for their placemats.
