24.01.2022 This MacBook came in for a battery replacement (photo to come, it swelled up like crazy!!!!!) and I discovered that the CPU fan was almost completely blocked with lint and dust as was the under side of the the motherboard. The cause of the battery failure was definitely due to the fan being choked up with dust, it just shows the importance of internal maintenance ie; clean out every 6-12 months, it could have saved this costly repair....
