20.01.2022 Hi all, An update on new features. 1. Next Friday we will deploy stage 1 of the Gunnar Autoload. You will fond this under the reports Tab This will export all Incomplete orders and invoices, filters buy date or item code.... Stage2 will be to add shapes and other features after we receive feedback from stage1 2. At the end of April we will release a new Email Campaign Editor. This will allow importing and creating your templates plus a lot more templates in general. As well as handle all bounces, and reports on opens etc. Have just finished testing on the development site, so now need to make some templates and videos before release. 3. Also at the end of April we will release the Trade Portal. This will allow framers to invite galleries, artists, photographers etc They will get a sub portal under yours, so they can raise their own quotes directly to yours. You get to set which items they can use, templates etc. Currently testing it with one of our own galleries at the moment, making videos and fine tuning it. From there we will take a break on any new main features and concentrate on upgrading existing features, adding more reports etc. So please feel free to send any feedback or request to us.

16.01.2022 Due to recent issue we had, some comments were made about not testing fixes and features, so i thought i would explain our procedure, and how we do not just deploy without testing. Stage 1. Developers build and test on their local machines, when their testing is done they move it to the development server which also uses a seperate database. Stage 2. Testing on development server, we test the new feature or fix as much as possible at where the relevant code is applied. Once ...testing looks good it moves to the beta server which connects to live the database Stage 3. Testing on the Beta server. We test not only the relevant code again but call up pass sales from the live database to make sure there is no changes to history. Once everything appears to be ok and pass our tests, we deploy to live server. Stage 4. We run all tests again in live environment. Most tests performed will be the same test throughout the way, but we do try to ensure that other pages tested are not affected in anyway. However, as soon as it hits live server we basically have 200 framers testing just not the same tests we performed but with their own unique settings . Hitting different pages, using different items set up differently to every one else. As you would be aware not everyone uses it in the same way some framers never see errors that get fixed, or they may never used that feature or that feature in its entirety. So if a framers comes upon an issue with it, and sometimes it is not with the code deploy it is somewhere else with other code that me have to now be refactored to use the additional code. If something is found and does not cause a major conflict, a fix will get deployed next deployment. If it is of concern then we roll it back immediately. A typical deployment to the the live server takes a approximately 3 minutes. Where possible we make deployments on weekends unless necessary for a fix to be applied asap.

14.01.2022 Just returned home from another successful Australian Framing Trade Show exhibit. While the number of framers seems to be down a little this year, we still did not have enough time to eat lunch each day. We held seminars for our existing customers in order to do some more training, answer any questions, gather feedback and new requests. They also got to be first to hear what new exciting features are coming over the next few months.... Our introduction to i-FRAMER seminars were also full to capacity. 80% of those seminars were framers unhappy with their existing software and looking at making the switch to i-FRAMER. So we would like welcome all our new i-FRAMER customers, and look forward to keeping everyone up to date on the release of new features coming soon.

10.01.2022 And the winner is......... At THE FRAMING SHOW we ran a competition; guess how many used blades were in the jar to win a 12month subscription to i-FRAMER... As we did not count, but weighed 10 blades, then weighed the lot to work out the number of blades, we decided to give 2 subscriptions away for the closes guesses. So by our calculation the number was 971 blades And the first winner is Brett from Framed By You, with a guess of 973. The second winner with a guess of 978 is Jenna & Leda from Art Style Gallery. Congratulations to our winners!

08.01.2022 Firstly i would like to publicly apologise to any framers affected by our recent downtime. We recently had an issue where our server continually crashed for 7 hours Monday and Tuesday and 5 hours on Wednesday until we discovered the issue. Framers Affected were mostly Eastern Australians. NZ were also affected from around early midday, luckily UK and US framers were not affected. The issue was not due to any code we had recently deployed as was suggested. This was confirme...Continue reading

07.01.2022 AS i-FRAMER is now in Australia, New Zealand, UK and the US. I will post updates once month. Here are the just uploaded last of our updates for October 2018. - Updated and released the project management Kanban Board - restructured and new permissions for staff.... - added the ability to search recent sales by tags as well. - a new setting which allows you to email the quote list to yourself, form the past week, fortnight or month. This will allow framers to check that no quotes were missed raising to an order. but most importantly to follow up quotes and convert into sales. If not into sales then to determine why the quote was unsuccessful. This information can be used for improving pricing, sales staff training, or framing options etc. The new trade portal is now in its final testing and a series of videos for setting up Trade customers and other trade features will follow. here is a link to a quick video on the latest updates https://youtu.be/-s-AtIxxzKI Any suggestions and criticism most welcome.

06.01.2022 Sorry about the long time between posts. But we tend to concentrate more on our customers and development. So i thought it was time i filled you what is happen...ing. Just ove a year ago we moved away from the current developers to employing our developers directly. This also meant hosting on our own servers as well. While we had a few teething problems initially, we kept developing new features while we fixed the old issues from the previous developers and move. i-FRAMER is now in available in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and United States. We really have grown and expanded in the last year. As mentioned we have been progressively developing new features, and again some are industry first. With currently 5 developers all working on different projects. We have our new trade portal about to be released, where you can invite galleries, artists, photographers etc, to have their own sub portal under your own. We also are about to release the Quickbooks API, so you can now also sync with Quickbooks. We have a kanban board in the making, which is a visual board where you can drag and drop cards/jobs from one list to another. We are finally getting around to updating out public website, where there will be more current information, and updating the existing plans. Pricing stays the same just some features will be premium features and only available on the medium+ plans. Development is still occurring on all plans though, so don't worry. We are also doing a whole series of new business reports. We want to delve deep and to give you a much better idea where your business is at and where or if it could improve. So there it is. We may have been quite on the social pages, but certainly not quiet behind the scenes. Please if you have any questions or requests, email them through anytime. Look forward to continuing to service you now and into the future. i-FRAMER Team
