19.01.2022 The power of our bodies is so profound. We have been taught to not trust our body, to transcend it, to disassociate from it, to control and oppress our intuition. It’s time to reclaim the power of your body. She is here to teach you how beautiful being and feeling can be. She is here to remind you of your power and that your power is needed in the world. ... Our bodies hold vast amounts of wisdom, they know exactly what needs to be released, where there is stuck energy and how to heal. The problem is our mind gets in the way. It doesn't let our body do what it needs to do. It likes to think, analyze, figure out all the steps, it likes to be louder than the body, ignore the body, avoid it because to be with your body means to be with what actually is, and that terrifies the ego. Pushing past the ego with resources in tow where your nervous system feels safe is where growth is. It is where expansion is, it's where living from the heart is. If your body had a voice {she does} what would she ask of you? Let her do that for five minutes a day, allow your body to intuitively move, dance, scream, release what she is ready to release. Listen to the wisdom of your body, let your body take the lead and do what she needs to do to heal and see what shifts. So often we think we need to think our way through or out of any situation, what would it look like to breathe and move your way through it? To quietening the mind & allowing the body to speak. 08.01.2022 TRUTH SEEKING AMONGST THE CHAOS I am a seeker of the truth. Sitting in the delicate space between what is true for me, truth for other, AND ACTUALLY TRUE. See, we have a loooong history around lack of truth in humanity. One that we often look back on and can’t even imagine how anyone ever let this happen. And the people that were challenging it all in these times (and currently) are called crazy or conspiracy theorists which makes people feel deep fear around seeking t...he truth. We burned, drown, and hung millions of women because we were told they were witches. We witnessed the Holocaust attach itself to the belief of one nation being deemed unworthy to live and preceded with unimaginable acts to fulfill that belief. We stole the children of Indigenous people and took over their land. Along with many other horrific things. There is a lot of history that scares me to trust the leaders of the world + to believe that what is being shown to us is something that we can trust. And no, I don’t believe I am being dramatic, I believe I am awake. If there is anything that my journey has shown me, it is how damaging it can be to stay asleep + be guided along the way that pleases the masses. WE ARE MISSING THE TRUTH. And this is where YOU have to tune out the noise and realign with your own inner truth. Using discernment to anchor deeply into what lands for you. What feels right in your bones. Nobody else’s. Just yours. What your body’s response is and listening to it. Hearing it’s whispers. Getting so quiet that you hear the whispers of the inner wise one and her ancient wisdom. That’s where truth is. I am searching for the truth - this is my birthright. So my love, I encourage you to seek what’s truth for you... outside the black and white. Where/how do you drop into your inner teacher? The wise one within? Image: @paulabrennan

04.01.2022 But Who IS the Wild Woman? The untamed one The awakening soul who will not rest.... This archetype is ‘wild’ because she needs to be. She needs to run, headfirst, and arrow-straight into the heart of every experience. And she needs her wildness to be able to traverse the worlds. She senses, intuits, and feels the spectrum of feels, without censoring herself. BUT For millennia now, most women (scratch that.. all women) have been censored, limited, stifled, subdued, and yes. tamed. At first, this banishment feels OK. But over time, we start to feel the longing for this part to return. It's as if we locked Wild Woman in the basement and we start to hear her calling to be let out. Something is dead, dull, lifeless. We know there is more. This especially shows up in our sexuality, when we have a nagging sense that we are holding something back, that there is more, that there is some sort of hidden passion and energy just waiting to explode. THAT is Wild Woman! In these waning spaces, and between places, the wildness of her archetype IS returning. But not over there, not somewhere else in YOU. And she emerges differently through each of us there’s no rhyme or reason to her instinctual nature (she’s wild, remember?) So the next time you feel the Moon waning, from within and without, hear her awaken and listen to what she has to tell you. The Wild Woman Archetype belongs to all of us. We can all call her in & embody her. See more
