25.01.2022 WEATHERMAN: Back! Warm and a little humidity as that spanish bitch (El Nina) winds up her skirt and.........troughs are on standby. Old Wives Tails, are not a happening thing. The only reason the rain cuckoos are hiding out in Eudlo, is, that's right, when they do go nuts over one another and no thought given to wet stuff hitting the ground. Just how reliable are Old Wives Tails? Excluding, Bert and Ernie (black cockatoos) performance is on a par, dare I say it, with... the meteor people. Even the ANTovsky's, who previously were very reliable, have fallen into their own deep holes in the ground. So invariably, with the meteorpeople's reports of the previously mentioned, spanish bitch, tales and or tails are few and far between. Forecast. Never done by Livio Oregano (Herb) or other meteor folk, I know. Grow some balls.....I am unable to say what the weather will do. Natural phenomenon. No %'s or ratings in it. Just bloody hot! EMPORIUM: "Public Toilets" from Div 5, Winston Johnston, State land, Council run, long-drop. No change any time soon. 24.01.2022 WEATHERMAN: Up and atom. Stretched, had a pee, cigarette and coffee'ssss out of the way ready to do a hard days work. Bright and yellow, powering all those government subsidized solar panels at the cost of those that don't. The Sun. (yes the sun, not me!) The big cheese in the sky to Meteor people and other interested boffins. No tales or tails to speak of....blue skies roll on and the warmer weather switch has been thrown I believe! Change (locally) the warmer c...lothes for the summer stuff. Umbrella on standby for when the spanish bitch arrives. (El Nina) EMPORIUM: Old school ham and salad sandwich pictured and scale doesn't change from picture to time of receiving and putting it in your gob, the thing you use, to smile with! Due to unforseen circumstances, the next week, stand in, Livio Oregano (Herb) will be responsible for percentile chances of anything meteor related. (CH 7) EMPORIUM: Due to unforseen circumstances, local news and events will not be put out there. Citrus Road, due to be sealed by 2025 will fall in the budget year of 2022, now, I'm told. Streetscape for Eudlo should now have a favourabl...e outcome with input from "locals" and what is needed. The Public toilet issue, "Rail land Toilets (longdrop) and Community Hall toilets (septic) remain an ongoing issue and until such time as ownership is cleared up no further outcomes possible. Rail works are on time and may be completed early but Eudlo School Rd and Rosebed St, remains closed to all vehicle traffic until further notice. 14.01.2022 EMPORIUM: The last remnants of vacant land at Palmwoods (Nowoods) is being developed. Urban sprawl continues to eat up small towns everywhere. The likes of Palmwoods Action Group or OSCAR Inc, have what impact? When the system, is in most cases, on the side of Developers with deeper pockets and the voices of locals go unheard. Do we call the amalgamated sprawl, Woowoods, Palmbye or keep it simple, Byewoods? Again, infrastructure is of little concern, throw in a round...about and let the drivers sort out the traffic issues. No assistance from QRail or TMR for the future, with no money and no plan of any sort for the future. The intersection at the rail bridge will continue to have accidents and the congestion will only get worse. That's OK, just get more people to live in this area. The local air conditioning systems have been primed, ready for the onset of the spanish bitch and the effects that come with her, otherwise referred to as HRM. No, not Her Royal Majesty. The BoM will no doubt issue an alert to Herb with reference to the Madjules (Madden-Julian) Oscillation out in the Indian Ocean (near the call centre) Not the Mumbai depot, the one further west. The impact on the spanish bitch (El Nina) is an unknown and no further information has been released. Probably, nee...d to know and Herb doesn't. 05.01.2022 WEATHERMAN: Obviously not impacted by the associated joys of being a member of the public and hard at being the intrepid weatherman. Reports of Old Wives Tails, Political Correctness Procedure (PCP) outage not required due to fact of faulty keyboard and no intent to insult or offend, just can't fix the keyboard. Mournfuk, has over the past few days been relentless in her sad and forlorn (if needed, Mournfuk started out life as Mel B, which started out life as Melancholy... and has as read, morphed to simply Mournfuk. (the stormbird) She has been available for funerals and other ceremonies that, sincere, mournfuk crying/howling is a pre-requisite. When not part of the Old Wives Tails, (group of weather forecasting tales) along with Bert and Ernie, Nutso (rain cuckoo) Bert and Ernie (black cockatoos) The ANTovsky's (Bull and Nippers) Deep Holes in the Ground (ants dig deep when rain is coming) and create volcano type structures as they go. Explanation of faulty keyboard....A fellow observer of weather, introduced the faulty keyboard to me and has an important function. Question technology? This said, observer, intimated that her keyboard was unable to operate correctly and that FUL on her keyboard, came out as FUK. 04.01.2022 EMPORIUM: STREETSCAPE COMMUNITY MEETING and CONTRIBUTIONS. About forty local people took the time to have a say about our "once upon a time moment" that may happen in 21/22 budget with works to pretty up Rosebed Street. Thanks to Div 5. Councilor, Winston Johnston and the "Streetscape Project Team." Time will tell if the message got through with time in the future to see what will be a $200,000,00 facelift. No botox! Project Manager has verbally agreed to enter into negotiations with TMR about traffic calming for several locations in Eudlo. 01.01.2022 EMPORIUM: Locally, the PUBLIC TOILET, a long drop special, has been the topic of conversation with Council. While still trying to ascertain who "OWNS" the toilets (septic) I have today forwarded the attached letter to Queensland Rail and Division 5 Councilor, Winston Johnston, in the hope of resolving a local stink! Remains to be seen if a solution can be found but hopeful of co-operation between the different levels of Government. I know, don't think it or say it!!!
