16.01.2022 Let's talk about the amazing Olive Leaf - isn't it fascinating that the Olive Tree provides us with so many resources? A major benefit that Olive Leaf Extract... (OLE) can bring is improvements in vascular function. A randomised controlled trial has demonstrated its ability to reduce arterial stiffness, which improves reactivity and enables better regulation of blood flow. That's not all, OLE can also reduce the production of inflammatory cytokines, which reduces the risk of plaque deposition on arterial walls (atherosclerosis) and allows smooth blood flow. 02.01.2022 Ridiculous that the Health Start Rating will give canola and sunflower oil higher rating than extra-virgin olive oil.

01.01.2022 Did someone say Olive Oil would never expire? Oh, how we wish that was true... Unfortunately, all oils will eventually degrade and may go rancid. When Olive Oil... is exposed to oxygen, light and prolonged heat, oxidation may occur, producing off-flavours. But don't panic, properly stored olive oil may last up to 2 years. A good way to preserve its freshness is to store the oil in a cool, dark place tightly covered with a lid on the container when not in use. If you are buying your oil in bulk, it's best to keep it in a fusti - stainless steel container. So keep calm and store your olive oil well. For more detailed processes of oil degradation, check out the study: https://bit.ly/2l09UX5 See more
