21.01.2022 With all the various pipes on a pool pump, it is difficult to buy a cover or shed. Although this custom cover looks square, all the pipes ect makes it far from square, but to the eye this custom build looks that way.

21.01.2022 Nearly completed this pool deck. just have a the fine turning to do now- fascias, under deck access area, hatches... the product is 100% recycled bamboo with a 25 year warranty, come in several sizes and colours. stay tuned to view the detail work in next day or so

21.01.2022 Just completed a very large gazebo. Measuring around 10x4meters, it makes the posts I used look like match sticks. All it need now is the ground levelled and a bit of retaining and the clients will be ready for the largest family gathering

20.01.2022 Just removed a 70s style deck with steel balustrade (btw these are no longer a legal height). I had to replace rotten decking, cladding, joist, bearers, and steps. The only thing kept was the roof, the two steel post and steel stingers. Now it looks modern, but also suits the style of the house and its surrounds. cant wait to see it painted

19.01.2022 To turf with Astro turf or real turf- what is better? Recently I turfed a yard with Aussie blue couch, looks great and very lush, problem is lawn pests in the summer. I also recently turfed with Astro turf. Looks great always, but nearly 3x price and being a plastic it gets rather hot under foot in summer... So what would you go for, low maintenance plastic artificial turf, or high maintenance lush sweet smelling natural turf??

17.01.2022 I Recently retained this clients backyard. the original slope was too great to have any practical use. Now they are ready to lay turf and have a nice flat surface for the kids to play. FYI: Any drop greater than 900mm is generally required by law to be fenced. Consequences may include fines, or civil suite if someone injured themselves

14.01.2022 In hindsight, a platform elevator would of been the way to go. Instead I did it with several ladders and took 3x longer than I expected- AT NO EXTRA COST TO THE CLIENT!!!. BTW I am licensed to use all they type of machines so if you have an access type job that builders will charge you the earth, perhaps give me a call?

14.01.2022 Just need to put in a new gate and this job is done! A complete makeover that is surprisingly affordable. Job included a new deck around a tree, Astro turf back yard, screen out patio for privacy. Raised garden bed. Oh, the hole in the ground is for one of those ground level trampolines.

This one is 3 meters high (for good ventilation) 3.6 square, 4.2 for extra bit past post. Let your imagination go wild! Put up screens, wall one side and put in BBQ area, fans, deck it...

11.01.2022 A recent complete front/back/sides landscape job. Includes full yard turf, retainers (wood and concrete), pathways, drainage, pavers, aluminium borders, access gate, side fence, setting letterbox... full clean up and pressure wash... all for under $9K!!

10.01.2022 Nearly finished an open horse shed. Features include trenching for lighting, water tap. Concrete slab under decking to clear away horse feed and to let horse feed have good ventilation. The enclosure holds 4 large bails of hay with internal gates in order to position feed when it runs low, and walls are reinforced to support the laziest horse (plus it doubles as a party area for a good ol fasion shin dig)

08.01.2022 Just complete an outdoor entertainment area. With the clients request, I built in their existing gazebo. Decking is WPC or recycled co-extruded timber. It has a 10 year warranty to be slip free, mould and termite resistant, fade resistant... it looks the same years down the track with out ever needing to oil it

08.01.2022 Whilst the original colonial staircase looked great, the rot in it had made it dangerous. I Replaced nearly everything except stringers with hardwood (just waiting on supplier for decorative bits to complete) All structural ends were painted with a polyurethane paint prior to hanging to increase its life. Most wood rot starts at either the ends of the timber, where water can well, or where fasteners are attached. Spend the time/money to paint and treat prior to build you will add YEARS or decades to the life of your timber structure

07.01.2022 This is a deck on a budget. All pine but nearly a quarter of the price of composite decking. To get longevity from a cheaper product, painting (not piling) is the best course of action

03.01.2022 Just completed a courtyard. It took a tip truck of materials to build the levels. Features include a partitioned garden area with stepping stones, a framed then concreted pad for pavers. Pavers step from garden to the large paved area where a bbq and dining table will sit- watch this space for planting out
