24.01.2022 Roundup of last Sunday. Morning started not to bad, but the strong winds and heat came as expected. To all our visitors who braved the conditions and continued with their trip to Iandra Castle a big thank you. We had approx 1200 through for the day, hope it lived up to expectations. 20.01.2022 G’day everyone, As most of you are already aware Iandra Castle will not be open this October long weekend. Iandra will not be holding the large Open Days as we have in the past, next year we will move towards pre booked Open Days to limit numbers.... Plans to open soon for bus groups etc. Bev and Rod.

16.01.2022 Our last Open Day numbers were down due to the weather, very cold and windy with no rain, an unwelcome combination. Approx 450 visitors, and thank you to those who braved the conditions. A warm and bright note to the day was the performance of The Ginninderra Wind Orchestra, a great bunch of people who we hope will revisit. We had a lot of feed back on the quality of their performance and how well it complimented the surrounds. Will post about next Sunday’s Open Day tomorrow.

16.01.2022 Just a reminder that Iandra Castle is not open this Oct long weekend. Google search will show a site Australias.guide that has us as open, after numerous emails they refuse to take it down. Iandra Castle is not a member or associated in any way with this group, but we apologise for the inconvenience that they may have caused.

14.01.2022 Hello everyone, It’s been a while since our last post. A couple of Open Days are coming up on Sunday Sept 8th and Sunday Oct 6th. The Ginninderra Wind Orchestra have kindly volunteered to perform on Sept 8th, prior to lunch, weather permitting.... Coffee cart. Greenethorpe School P and C doing sausage sizzle type bbq. We encourage family’s to bring a picnic lunch and use our lawns. Just a few notes to remember if you intent to visit. Eftpos is available but still in the early stages of trial. Due to bio security at Iandra and surrounding farm, please be advised that we do not allow animals in our garden /house area. Dogs need to be left near your car in the parking area. Please do not park outside on the main road, as this confuses others and is very unsafe, we have plenty of parking inside, please continue up our driveway and you will be directed by our courteous staff. Open times are 10am to 4pm. Thank you and hope we see you at our Open Days Bev and Rod.

08.01.2022 The gardens at the moment are at their absolute spring best. Visitors this Sunday 6th October, between 10am and 4pm, will be able to enjoy the gardens and picnic on the lawns, then wander through the house at your own leisure. Jackie will be providing coffee, Jim and Nancy will have their lavender products, Robin and Geoff’s lovely ceramics etc., Junee Chocolate factory, no prizes for guessing what they will have, Regional lifestyle magazine and In a Pickle. The Cherry Capita...l Collectors Club will be starting the Crossley at intervals through the day. Our neighbouring attraction The Rustic Maze will be Open and should not be missed. Circa 1935 in Greenethorpe will provide you a lovely lunch. See more

08.01.2022 Due to circumstance beyond their control Greenethorpe P and C will not be doing a sausage sizzle, sorry if this has caused any inconvenience. Our lawns look lovely, especially if you are sitting on them with your picnic lunch.

04.01.2022 G’day to you all, You probably all guessed this was coming, we regret having to cancel our first two Open Day on the 12th April Easter Sunday and the 26th of April. We will make a decision about the June LWE closer to the event. I will post some photos soon of the gardens.... Rod and Bev
