25.01.2022 Thanks Leisa Willson for inviting me along to your team meeting last night to present my workshop for Direct and Social Selling. I hope you and your team got a lot of benefit from it and are using some of my tips already.
24.01.2022 As I predicted, new industries are resurging already as a result of COVID-19. Speaking with a friend last night, she shared that shes been recruiting 280 staff for a company whos bringing their Call Centre back to Australia! Great news! Ive also seen job ads for flexible, work-from-home customer service staff. Businesses are changing for the better.
24.01.2022 Im sure no one ever plans to fail, but many fail to plan. This can often result in businesses floundering, struggling or ultimately failing. If strategic planning isnt your forte, consult with someone who has the experience and knowledge to help you. Youll find the investment very worthwhile.

22.01.2022 A great example of how businesses are ADAPTING their standard business model during the Coronavirus outbreak. Something all businesses can learn from.
22.01.2022 A few management philosophies I always lived by 1. Lead firstly 2. Motivate secondly 3. Manage thirdly Create a clear vision and purpose. With strong leadership, share with your team to get them excited and motivated to achieve your common goal. An excited and motivated team, who are empowered to contribute with their ideas, strengths and talents can achieve mighty things. Manage only those who are not contributing or being part of the team. They may need extra guidance, training, motivation or a different role.
22.01.2022 Did you know that over 90%* of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, milk and eggs that are sold in Australia are produced domestically? Lets keep supporting Aussie farmers and small businesses. Read your labels when shopping. Buy Australian made. Support small cottage industries and producers. Eat fresh and live well. *Source: Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment.
22.01.2022 Our local Brumbys is also offering a local delivery service or preorder and pickup. Fill your freezer with bread, pies and sweet treats for your family for the weekend and support a local small business.
21.01.2022 Exciting times and another life goal achieved. Yes, it’s goodbye Knox City and hello to Casey/Cardinia. Looking forward to setting up home and business in Berwick.
21.01.2022 Show your passion for your business and the SERVICE you provide online through social media, just like you do face-to-face. Engaging with your customers and keeping them updated, will build loyalty and have them returning repeatedly.
20.01.2022 In addition to supporting local small businesses, its easier to adhere to social distancing rules in smaller, less frequented shops than the big supermarkets. Support your local bakery, butcher, fruit & veg grocer, newsagent or IGA. Many have the flexibility to provide home deliveries or order, tap and go options. Keep safe shop locally.
18.01.2022 Calling all entrepreneurs and creators! What new opportunities do you see for our new economy and the reboot of Australian industry and commerce?
18.01.2022 Content is King! Ever wondered what does that means? Its all about the information (content) you share and promote on your Facebook Business Page, website, blog and other social media sites. Heres a few questions to ask yourself. Does each Post have a purpose? Are you being intentional or random? Does it add value to your followers? Is it always salesy and self-promoting?... Do your images align with your message? Do you vary your content enough? If you need help or direction, send me a message and well have a free 15-minute chat. See more
18.01.2022 I never, ever thought I would create a Post about toilet paper! What an interesting phenomenon weve experienced over the last couple of weeks. It just goes to show that the most mundane of consumables can cause such mass hysteria when demand outstrips supply, and the media fuel the demand with their reporting. Ive noticed that the supermarkets still had plenty of cans of SPAM. A product that fed millions during World War II. Just a thought! ;)

16.01.2022 In todays business environment, we need to watch the market trends and adjust our plans accordingly. Weve seen too many companies close through replicating what DID work, rather than reading the signs of change and adjusting their plans and business models.
16.01.2022 Paying my respect and gratitude to all the servicemen and women who have protected our great country.

What we need is entrepreneurs, leaders and businesses to embrace new challenges, think outside the box and be open to new opportunities. Let's go Australia and get behind buying and producing locally.
