09.01.2022 As real estate agents, we come into a high amount of contact with people, and in light of the COVID-19 outbreak, we are taking the situation very seriously and have reviewed our protocols and processes to ensure we do everything we can to minimise the impact of the virus and ensure the safety of our staff, clients and the greater community. We take our position in the community very seriously and confident that we can continue to fulfil our commitments to all of our clients a...nd tenants. Whilst ‘What’ we do will not change, the ‘how’ will. We must do things differently to ensure the safety of everyone during these challenging times. In addition to personal behavioural changes (such as minimising our physical contact and increased hand washing etc), our office we be making the following important changes. All of our staff, including property managers, have been placed onto a ‘work from home roster’ where some staff will be working from the office and some from home, this has been put into effect from today. For the safety of all. All staff have also been advised if they feel even slightly unwell, we request that they call in sick or work from home. Due to reduced staff, our office hours during the week need to be reduced to 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, Saturday open times will not be impacted. Due to the current restrictions, we do not currently have suitable meeting room facilities for face to face meetings, if you need to meet with your property manager or sales consultant, please discuss with them an alternative arrangement (eg. Zoom, FaceTime etc) or to sign documents remotely rather than in person in the office. On a positive note, we have recently gone through a significant upgrade do our I.T system, this means we are ready and prepared for our team to work remotely, this will ensure a minimal impact on our service. This situation is constantly evolving and change is necessary if we all want to do our part on combating the threat of COVID19. What impact does this have on the real estate market? For a long time, buyers have been spoiled for choice, but today, some might be struggling to find their perfect property.
