25.01.2022 Golden hour is one of my favourite times of day to shoot landscape photos. This lovely scene presented itself one very early morning on our recent trip to the New England region of New South Wales.

25.01.2022 Happy New Year. Here is my top 9 for 2018. Obviously been busy with other things, only posted 12 images for the year. Hopefully 2019 will be more productive. #2018bestnine #happynewyear2019

24.01.2022 Japanese garden, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco The oldest public Japanese garden in the United States, built for the 1894 California Midwinter International Expo. Over 3 acres of gardens. A relaxing way to pass a couple of hours.

23.01.2022 Last stop on our little trip around Tasmania. The Cascade Brewery, Australia oldest, brewing since 1824. The have some amazing landscaped gardens here and a little bistro and bar where we sat and relaxed with our lunch with a view and a brew. #cascadebrewhouse

22.01.2022 Tasmania's Tessellated Pavement Formed over centuries. Sediment, salt, water, and wind have left this stunning tile like Tessellated pattern in the rocks near Eaglehawk Neck, Tasmania.

22.01.2022 Early morning sunrise at the Southport sand pumping jetty. The sand pumping jetty stretches 800m out into the Pacific Ocean where it intercepts the northward moving longshore drift sand and bypass pumps it past the Southport seaway, maintaining the shipping lane entry into the Southport broadwater

22.01.2022 Fountain / refecting pool lat the Queensland art gallery.

22.01.2022 Yup, That Wanaka Tree. One year ago this week and already have itchy feet wanting to get back there again.

17.01.2022 A bit of a change from Landscape photos. I decided to head out to the local annual air show. A combination of Aerobatics, high-speed fly-bys, and static displays. Not a bad way to spend a cool autumn day. https://ianschulz.photography/air-show/

15.01.2022 Today's red sunset in the rear view mirror on the way home.

15.01.2022 Continuing the theme of sand pumping jetties. The Fingal Head sand pumping jetty. Fingal Head, New South Wales.

15.01.2022 Sitting along the banks of the Maroochy River, these boathouses have been braving the effects of Mother Nature for over 70 years. Good to see they are now getting some much needed love.

15.01.2022 Southport Spit. Sand pumping jetty.

10.01.2022 Sunset over Sydney. Taken from the Sydney Opera House forecourt.

10.01.2022 Cape Pillar - Tasman Island Millions of years ago these cliffs were the result of a massive volcanic event. Surviving the harsh Southern Ocean environment they stand over 300 metres above the sea at various points along the Tasman Peninsula.

10.01.2022 Throw back Thur... umm Friday. Manly boat harbour at sunrise. This shot is a few years old now and won an award at the time. Quite possibly hanging on more peoples walls than any other pic of mine.

09.01.2022 Spent the early morning with some friends at the Southport spit, taking in the sunrise at the sand pumping jetty. 08.01.2022 Foggy sunrise out past Willowbank while road tripping to see the family on Boxing Day.

08.01.2022 Part 2 of Tasmania's Tessellated pavement. Yesterdays image was a "pan" formation. Today we have a "loaf" formation. Both formed in the same rocks, just with different types of erosion leading to the differing patterns. Formed over centuries. Sediment, salt, water, and wind have left this stunning tile like Tessellated pattern in the rocks near Eaglehawk Neck, Tasmania.

08.01.2022 Serene dream. Nothing beats the peace and quiet of early morning in the country. Another shot from Gostwyck, NSW

07.01.2022 A little touch of monochrome.

01.01.2022 Another image from this stunning location. Sitting along the banks of the Maroochy River, these boathouses have been braving the effects of Mother Nature for over 70 years. Good to see they are now getting some much needed love.
