21.01.2022 Great catching up with Jo Hersey MLA today as Leah and I continue our Daly Electorate Trip. Jo’s electorate of Katherine joins Daly so topics which are common are forefront on our minds but a friendly coffee never goes a stray! Thanks for the time Jo and the lovely town of Katherine.
16.01.2022 Don’t forget there’s markets and fairs and opportunities to buy local all throughout the electorate leading up to Christmas. There’s also some great goodwill opportunities too, which my office would be happy to share the locations of should any of us need that helpful hand up this year. Tomorrow (Sunday 13th Dec) is also the Berry Springs Christmas Markets.
15.01.2022 Leah’s been baking! So the Daly Team joined me today to deliver some Festive Goodies, as a Christmas gesture to those who assist and help in all thing politics and community. With the Ian Sloan MLA 2021 Calendar being delivered I hope my team and I see you soon.
13.01.2022 Parliament returns next week. So it’s great getting out to all corners of the Daly, including this week in Pine Creek, hosting a morning tea, catching up with and listening to residents over a cuppa and a snack. Heading to Timber Creek with Leah next, a big trip.
13.01.2022 Wow, things have become busy. The Daly Daily Community News (DDCN) is now 8 pages. covering community, social snaps, all things Daily and some fun thrown in for good measure. Not to mention the kids colouring in competition! Thanks for all the community feed back. Copies will gradually become available over the next 2 weeks in most post boxes, general stores, local venues and here on Facebook. 10.01.2022 Thank you Berry Springs Primary. You all do a great job and the Family Night last Wednesday was a huge success. I was more than happy to help. I hear that next year we’ll need a few more volunteers and more meat for a BBQ, which is fantastic.
