15.01.2022 The ninth day of Dhul-Hijjah is the day of Arafah, since it is on this day that the pilgrims gather at the mountain plain of Arafah, praying and supplicating to their Lord. It is mustahabb (highly recommended) for those who are not pilgrims to fast on this day, since the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) was asked about fasting on the day of Arafah, so he said, It expiates the sins (Minor) of the past year and the coming year. 03.01.2022 IFAM Rooty Hill Halqa team had breakfast with our honourable guest Shujauddin Sheikh Sb at IFAM Markaz. Mufti Asad Ullah (Rooty Hill Masjid), Ijaz Khan Vice President IAWSS, Masood Cheema Chairman AICS and other community members also attended.

01.01.2022 Rooty Hill Masjid By the grace of Allah SWT, Islamic Association Western Suburbs Sydney (IAWSS) and Australian Islamic College of Sydney in conjunction with PTI NSW celebrated historical #PakistanIndependenceDay at AICS hall which attracted more than 800 Pakistani especially women, youth and children living across NSW and capital territory. Funds were also raised for water projects in Pakistan... IAWSS executive committee ensure their full support to organise such events for the community by the community.
