23.01.2022 NEW YEAR REBOOT TIP 1 Use this week as a way to reset and create good healthy habits to set yourself up for the start of 2021. Water & hydration can make such a massive difference to your day... and can make an enormous impact on your health & fitness goals. ... Aim for 2-3 litres of water per day - YES! that's right... you may need more on intense workout days and if you are living in hot, humid conditions, like right now over summer time in Australia. Many of us are walking around in a dehydrated state, unaware that when we mindlessly reach for food we are actually thirsty instead. Our brain can confuse the signal for water with food, so ensure that you are getting enough H20 on board! Create a daily habit tracker if you're not used to drinking enough water to help you along the way. And sip often, rather than chugging it down all at once. Getting plenty of water each and every day will help you: create focus and mental clarity improves mood rids bad toxins from the body carries essential nutrients to organs of the body curbs appetite or mindless snacking/over eating clearer skin and complexion assists with digestion assist with flat tummy goals It may be time to clean out your water bottle or purchase a new one to help you stay on track with this simple healthy habit. I find that a clear water bottle with a sipper works best for me, and i highly recommend the Eddy Camelbak Glass Series. For me the clear glass helps me see exactly how much water i'm consuming and motivates me to keep going until i reach the bottom. And the sipper system makes it so easy to consume. So are you getting enough water on board? Take the time now to make the tweaks to ensure you're on top of this simple healthy habit to kicktart your health & fitness in 2021

Go for 4 rounds minimum or whatever you can make time for... 1 or 2 rounds is even better than none... 17.01.2022 NEW YEAR REBOOT TIP 4 - Prepare Workout Gear It's time to get prepared with your workout gear. Towel, exercise mat, water bottle, runners, socks, hat, head band/spare hair ties and don't forget your gym bag to keep it all organised and ready to go! Scrambling around at the last minute for everything you need to head off to class just delays you getting out the door and creates unnecessary stress and potentially wasted minutes to your workout time.... I find that purchasing a few key pieces for my workout kit that I really love, helps keep me motivated as I just want to dive in and use it! You may like to purchase some new active wear to kick off the start of the New Year. Feeling good in what you put on can really help inspire you to get moving too. Just like yesterday's tip - 'Failing to plan is planning to fail'. so put aside some time and get prepared with all the gear you need now so you can hit the ground running for your 2021 workout sessions without any excuses or last minute stress. 11.01.2022 2020 has been quite the year that no-one even dreamed imaginable, and as this crazy year draws to a close I just wanted to say 'THANK YOU' for all you support It's been a difficult year for so many, and I want to send much love and best wishes to anyone impacted - mentally, financially and also physically - especially if you have been further impacted from the recent outbreaks in New South Wales. May everyone stay healthy and safe. A massive thanks to those of you who con...tinued to train with us during our Livestream format and then returned to train with us in the park. And many thanks to those who supported our recent digital course launches and followed workouts from our social media feeds too. It's certainly been a challenging year for our small business and I dare say we would not have survived without your support - so a big thank you for supporting our team, whether that be in person, via livestream or via our digital feeds. A big shout out to our crew who have remained resilient during the challenges over 2020. They have thought creatively during our livestreams and welcomed you back to our face to face sessions & Nanny Service, working around all kinds of restrictions and then upping the ante to keep you moving and inspired to stay active with new and challenging workouts. If you've recently joined our beautiful fitness community I do hope you are enjoying the journey so far. We aim to continually improve so I welcome feedback at any time both positive or otherwise. Our face to face sessions will be back in the park from Monday 11 January (unless any changes are directed by NSW Government). Plus I plan to increase our level of motivation and inspiration on our social media feeds, newsletters and private facebook group in the New Year to support your health & fitness journey too. 06.01.2022 NEW YEAR REBOOT TIP 3 - Schedule Your Workouts We don't fine time, but we MAKE TIME for things that are IMPORTANT TO US.... so make your health & fitness important to you! Truth be known if we 'try to find time' .... something else will often take priority and then before we know it we blame 'not having enough time' to fit in time for exercise.... Put aside a few minutes now and carve out time in your weekly schedule to make a REGULAR workout plan. Committing to specific days and time slots will make completing your workouts so much easier. The best time to workout is the time that you can commit, whether that be morning, mid morning, afternoons or evenings. Be realistic about the time you can commit & get it in the diary and make it happen. It's often said that 'Failing to plan is planning to fail'. So drop the excuses, get out your diary now, coordinate with others in the household or workplace if you need to & block out time in your electronic calendar and make your commitment to yourself each and every week! TIP: MAKE IT A REGULAR SPOT IN YOUR DIARY, SO THAT YOU CREATE A REGULAR ROUTINE - small steps each and every week add up to big results! 02.01.2022 OUTDOOR BOOTCAMPS TRANSITION | My step away from running Outdoor Bootcamps in Term 2 Making things 'Facebook Official'... As some of you know, my family has been based overseas for my husbands work for some time now and with the inability to regularly travel to and from Australia under the Covid Pandemic restrictions, it has created additional pressure for me to stay connected both in the administrative running of the business and meet the changing needs of my family.... ...I do hope that many of you will appreciate, it is now time for me to prioritise my family during this challenging time BOOTCAMPS TO CONTINUE UNDER MF FITNESS... I am delighted however to announce that Trainer Mel has agreed to take over the reigns and will continue to run the regular timetable of Outdoor Bootcamp Classes at Ryde Park together with regular team faces under her own business entity 'MF FITNESS'. This will become effective from the start of Term 2 this coming MONDAY 19 APRIL 2021. ‘ibelieve fitness’ will evolve to offer other coaching & wellness services, I will continue to post regular workouts on Instagram and write my blog so please continue to stay tuned for regular updates.
