Paul John 'Edited' is an Indian single malt similar to the brand's introductory expression, 'Brilliance', but with "a hint of peat". The vatting for this malt consists of 85% unpeated spirit and 15% peated spirit, which is just enough to add an extra layer of depth without coming off as heavily smoked. If you are someone who likes full-flavored whisky but are still unsure about peat smoke, this is a great introductory to Paul John's 'Peated' and new 'Bold' expressions as well as some of the thick, medicinal malts from Scotland.
