25.01.2022 Hi Everyone! The 3P officially commences this Thursday, 12th of April @ 6:00pm in CB05D.01.014. To enable students to fit the 3P into an already busy schedule, we have streamlined the length of competition. It used to be almost 16 weeks from registration to the 3P final. From the 12th of April, the competition can be completed in 7 weeks. We have also modified the lean canvas, from 11 panels down to only 4. Unless we have booked a speaker in for a 3P chat, most of the se...ssions will commence at 6:00 and conclude at 7:30 at the latest. We have former UTS student and now serial entrepreneur Emma Petroulas in for a chat this Thursday. She has started a successful business from scratch, sold it and is now onto another successful venture. 24.01.2022 Congratulations to everyone who participated at this evening's IBISWorld 3P Innovation Pitch Final!!! You all did a tremendous job and I hope you all consider pushing your ideas as far as you can. I wish I could give you all prizes! But alas, we can only pick 3. 23.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We have 3P tomorrow, Thursday, 19th of April @ 6:00pm in CB05D.01.012 - 1 Quay Street, Ultimo - Building 5, Block D, Level 1, Room 12. Just like last week, we will have light snacks available. Please bring your water bottle. We don't have a guest speaker scheduled for tomorrow, so we'll finish earlier at 730pm. 22.01.2022 Hi Everyone! We have the Implementation and Finance consultation scheduled for this Thursday, 26th of April @ 6:00 pm. As its STUVAC this week, some if not most of you are away. In the interest of not wasting our mentors time, I require at least 6 sole founders/teams to send me an email confirming their availability to attend the session, by 4:00 pm tomorrow afternoon. 11.01.2022 RESULTS ARE IN - The 2017 3P Winners Are: Congratulations to Learned Hub & Tekuma for coming in equal 1st!!! Both teams won $10,000.00. Congratulations to Kindershare for coming in 3rd place, taking home $5,000.00! First time for everything, no 2nd place this year.... Thank you to all the entrepreneurs who participated in 3P this year. I encourage you all to continue to pursue your goals, just because you didn't win this year, does not mean you wont in 2018. Keep refining your idea, keep getting feedback, you'll be better for it and participate again next year. You never know, next year might be your year to win a share of $25,000.00.

06.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We have a 3P Session this Thursday, 18th of April @ 6.00pm in CB05B.03.026. We will commence with a presentation from Emma Petroulas, a serial entrepreneur who has sold her first business, and is now onto running a second successful venture. Emma is a Chartered Accountant and also lectures in International Accounting at UTS. I encourage all of you to attend her presentation as she discusses how to run a small businesswhich is essentially what a start-up is. A...fter Emmas presentation, at 6.30pm she and the rest of the mentors will be available for consultations. Depending on the number of students who want consultations, I aim for us to finish by 745pm. We will have 2 new mentors on this Thursday. Along with Emma, Max from KPMG will be joining us. Max works with large organisations developing their digital strategy and innovation pipelines. We will also be joined by our regular mentors, Helen Spiropoulos, Vivian Quinn and Peter Bennett. If any of you have yet to come to a session due to clashes with work or classes, our mentor Mark Macduffie from the CBA (Global Markets Division Digital, Analytics & Innovation Ideas) is available for consultations via phone or skype. If would like to take an opportunity to speak to Mark remotely please send me an email. This is our last session until after STUVAC.
